More than 2 levels of "Group By"
There is a strong need to Group By more than two levels of column data. Example, we use SP to track mosquitos for vector control. I want to Group by Week, Trap Site, Trap Type, Species, Condition, etc... The ability to drill down and see totals for each condition or "Group By" would be fantastic. This leads to the next suggestion, Add Calculated columns to Group By Totals.

Thanks for your suggestion. We’re evaluating technical options for this feature. No guarantees or timelines just yet – but this is something we think would be very useful.

Please do it as early as possible and 4 levels will be very useful to my requirement.

At least 4 levels would really help.

Even 3 levels would be an improvement

Please, do it!

This would be an excellent improvement for users. The current limitation of two levels encourages ongoing use of folders which we are trying to limit so that the power of metadata can be fully realised.

3-4 layers of grouping would be really nice, as there are a lot of use cases for this. However, I've found grouping in modern pages to be really poor for performance, where in classic lists this is not the case. Please help fix this Microsoft.

Is there an update on this ticket? There are many times where this feature would be useful and it would be nice to know an update on this if it is planned or not.

This is a change needed since SP 2007, and is the first thing I check for with each new version. We had a workaround in SharePoint Designer 2007 and 2010 that could let us do up to 16 levels deep, so the feature is there, we just need it added to the UI. (You could of course just fix SharePoint Designer 2013 :-) )

I like it but used all my votes.

I could not agree more! If you can filter by endless fields, why can't you group by endless fields? It is the biggest end user frustration still after 8 years in SharePoint.
