Keep Designer in SharePoint 2016
I heard that in SharePoint 2016 there was NOT going to be any SharePoint Designer! PLEASE! I use it almost daily to provide simple workflows such as email to colleagues and other options that "Out of the Box" functionality can not allow and where InfoPath does not provide "If Then" statements for the ability to create Calendar items if conditions are met.

There is no new version of SharePoint Designer, but the 2013 version will continue to work with SharePoint 2016. We’re not taking it away, we’re just not investing more in SharePoint Designer

What's interesting to me: Why? Why not go any further with SPD? It already hurt as the design view was removed and now there's no continue?
Especially guys like me, who are no developers and not interested in using Visual Studio at all, loved the SPD. Not only because of creating workflows but also for some small customizing in UI, etc.
