SharePoint Calendar views adjust for local time zone
SharePoint calendars will show the time zone associated with the SharePoint site. Companies with offices across time zones have to translate that and people will often miss a scheduled meeting unless they used Outlook to show current time zone of the calendar item. Why can the calendar check the local computer time and adjust the calendar to display in the proper time zone?
This should be an option since not every company will want this functionality, but from a UX side, this would help with schedules.

Agree, would be very helpful to have the Microsoft Lists time zone settings per user setting instead of one static site collection setting

When can have a solution for this........
So annoying to store data I a list and work with that data in Power Platform and Excel and there are always timestamp issues..... -

It's 2020 and truly amazing that this is still an issue. How is this not tied to UTC for the user side to decode? The concept that a SITE should have a single time zone is beyond outdated.

This issue is coming up more on SharePoint courses as companies collaborate nationally and internationally with SharePoint.
SharePoint calendars should at least follow the timezone settings in Outlook online of the reader
Connecting a SharePoint calendar to Outlook will show events in the users time zone in Outlook, but its an extra and non-obvious step

Excruciating this is still the case. This is a collaboration product - one that is extensively used by companies across the globe with operations in multiple time zones. Asking our users to do time-zone calculations to determine when a meeting is happening is a massive UX fail.

Bad idea, it's like making people use 24 languages (time zones) and asking them to constantly translate, a formula for confusion and misses, not collaboration. At least with a Zulu based time approach, we all speak the same language and will get accustomed to translating our time to Zulu.

Agreed, this is a really bad way to implement a product that's used to share things! Please make changes to accommodate a user's timezone when showing calendar items...

As a global Company with many Users from different Time Zones this is an absolute no go!
Users are confused about at which time the meeting is often someone is missing a meeting.
Please make the time zone adjustable to the computer time zone or adjust it to the AD settings.
