Bring back "meeting workspace" in SharePoint 2016
I would be glad to see you bring back Meeting wokspace templates for Websites in SharePoint 2016 on premise and Office Outlook.
Thank you for the feedback! This scenario definitely has merit, but we are not planning to invest in this at this time. We hope that customers will be able to use modern team sites, Teams, and Planner to meet their scenarios, but please open a new suggestion w/ specifics if there are scenarios being missed. Thanks!

So instead of being able to pull everything into a single site, add meeting workspaces to it, kepp relevant conversations within the project site, build a self-contained project area with everything related to one project in ONE place it's now spread throughout the landscape in multiple places with versioning out the window. Where I used to be able to do ONE search for what I needed I have have to do several in that awfull yammer thing and the dumbed-down Teams interface that has a zero ability to customise it. And this is an improvement to productivity HOW exactly?? I add my very frustrated voice to those already here - PLEASE can we have the productivity functionality back with meetings workspaces?

We are setting up a Planner using the buckets as replacements for the placeholders the meeting workspaces had and using the default API's and best practices of MS to create a add-in for Outlook. This approach looks good in Beta and prototype testing with our internal stakeholders is promising. for context we have about 4000 active SP010 meetingworkspaces in our environment.
This is a shame. Teams and Planner don't come anywhere close to replacing SharePoint sites where you could put all the web parts on one page. Now you have to click to a half dozen different apps to see what you can do in SP on one page.

I would also like to see this come back. We use it extensively in our SharePoint 2010 installation and will most likely be putting off upgrading until this comes back or some reasonable alternative comes along
I think this function is back in spirit with the Groups functions of O365.

Add an improved version with a better UX and allow to link files from a document Library to meeting dates / instances.
There is a popular meeting app that looks pretty good.
