現時点ではモダン サイトにて、サイト テンプレート機能が利用できないため今後の機能拡充に向けモダン サイトにおいてもサイト テンプレート機能が利用できるよう要望いたします。Currently in Modern sites, the site template feature cannot be used.
For improvement of usability in the future, allow users to use the site template feature in the Modern sites as well.Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for the feedback! We are addressing this capability/ask with site designs – effectively allowing users to apply their own customizations to a base set of site templates that we can continue to update over time (addressing a limitation w/ point-in-time site templates of the past). Remove the 1TB per site collection limit
It is sometimes a requirement to keep everything within one site collection however the 1TB limit means you have to do extra work to split data up, also at the expense of the user experience.

We are not currently planning changing this limit for SharePoint team sites in the near future. We will plan to continually revisit this maximum size in the future.
