Remove Information Type as a mandatory field, or fix SharePoint so it doesn't crash every time I try to populate it1 vote

Whenever a document is uploaded to a library it would be really neat to get a suggestion on metadata based on the documents characteristics. E.g. if the title, or substantial part of the content is similar to other docs in the same library it could be proposed to use the same column values
Perhaps MS graph can be used somehow to make this possible?1 vote
If you have many metadata in a library then the filter-pane will become cluttered, confusing and awkward to work with.
On many modern websites similar filters will automatically disable choices that become invalid or would return an empty result after an initial choice is made.
This would greatly simplify filtering and user experience.1 vote
The current lexicon is short on Adobe and Salesforce acronyms ?

In many cases, a document may require that multiple instances of a metadata element be added. A document may apply to multiple instances of an asset. SharePoint's interface for multi-value tagging is atrocious. The filtering within a library and the ability to tag a document with multiple instances of an attribute are terrible at best and impact the adoption of the platform in industries where this is a common occurrence.1 vote
Currently it is not.
I have been using Copy-PnPFile and the standard Move action of SharepointOnline to copy some documents from one site to another (copy, not move!) and I noticed the DocumentID stays the same, within the scope of the two site collections. So this means, 2 files 1 DocumentID in 2 different site collections.
I then renamed and moved back the copied file to the original site (where the original file was created) et voilà! the SAME SITE COLLECTION HOSTS TWO DIFFERENT FILES WITH THE SAME DOCUMENTID.
DocumentID should be unique in the scope of the Tenant.1 vote
