I would like to be able to add recurring events and to duplicate events in the event calendar module!463 votesnot in our plans right now · AdminSites Product Team (Product Owner, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
We aren’t currently working on adding recurring events support to the Events web part. As a number of commentors have suggested, Group calendars do a great job with recurring events and are a great way to show them on your modern pages.
It would be nice to have the option to place a web part on a modern page and add HTML to it. We don't always want to jump to SPFx for something simple. It would help add some flexibility to the modern pages.260 votesnot in our plans right now · AdminSharePoint Sites & Collaboration (Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
Thank you for the feedback. Creating a Modern Content Editor Web part is not in our plans right now
While I love being able to create events easily in SP Communication sites (and love that users can add them to their calendars), not having the ability to have users register for limited capacity events means we have to duplicate the information or abandon the events in SP all together.167 votesnot in our plans right now · AdminSharePoint Sites & Collaboration (Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
Thank you for everyone’s feedback. We are not planning on adding support for event registration at this time but we will keep it in mind in the future when we look at improving the overall event story on SharePoint.
The new event web part in SPO should support recurring events for Birthdays etc. We use it to keep track of birthdays in our office, but the new web-part does not support recurring events.146 votesnot in our plans right now · AdminSharePoint Sites & Collaboration (Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded

Make the calendar webpart so it can fully overlay any number of calendars from Exchange, and also make them writable. For example have a room calendar in Exchange where non Exchange users can see the calendar and even make a reservation.109 votes
Thank you for the feedback. A fully integrated overlay calendar for Exchange is not in our plans right now
I would love to see a webpart that would make it easy to add a discussion board. Yammer is an option but makes it hard to monitor and get notification if you need to watch for multiple discussions.108 votes
Thank you for the feedback. Adding a discussion board webpart is not in our plans right now. However, we are continuing to work with the Yammer team to improve the Yammer webpart, and appreciate any suggestions.
It would be great to have the possibility to remove or deactivate certain standard client webparts like the "yammer feed".
Many companies don't even use yammer and it would just confuse users. Or at least have the possibility that the yammer client side webpart is only shown, when yammer is activated for the tenant.

While we do support disabling non Microsoft services (e.g. Amazon Kindle, Twitter, YouTube) in the toolbox, we don’t support disabling Microsoft services. If these services can be disabled at the tenant level, they should be automatically hidden from the toolbox.
for disabling third party services, see Set-SPOTenant, using the parameter DisabledWebPartIds.
