The sharepoint integration should be expanded to calendars.36 votes
Thanks for your feedback! We’re happy to report that group calendar web parts can be placed on SharePoint pages: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-the-group-calendar-web-part-eaf3c04d-5699-48cb-8b5e-3caa887d51ce?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us
Modern pages allow the addition of news, links, activity, etc., but there is no option to display list view web parts. We use lists constantly and rely on list view web parts. Specifically, I would like to continue using the very cool "Promoted Links" list in new sites and use the standard web part for that list. The tiles have been very popular for key navigation elements for a site, and I don't want to lose that when moving to modern pages/sites.31 votesboom! it's done · AdminSharePoint UserVoice Admin (SharePoint UserVoice Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
We’ve just starting rolling this out to First Release customers now

In document libraries and in the List View it would be great if the column widths and text size could be adjustable. This would make larger lists a bit more readable to the user rather that letting Sharepoint decide the column width.30 votesboom! it's done · AdminSharePoint UserVoice Admin (SharePoint UserVoice Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
This works in modern lists and libraries.
There should be a web part that enables users to create Footers for their communication sites28 votes
Thanks for your feedback! We’re happy to report that your suggestion is available. Documentation can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/features/site-footer
Currently only links with associated URL's can be added. It would be great to be able to add headings without associated links to assist with grouping27 votesboom! it's done · AdminSharePoint UserVoice Admin (SharePoint UserVoice Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
We have added support for labels on the hub navigation.
give an easy way for users to copy a file from a SharePoint site document library into their own OneDrive For Business. It was announced at the "FutureOfSharePoint" webinar that users will be able to copy a file from their OneDrive to a SharePoint site and I think it would also be beneficial to allow users to copy files the other way. I
m hoping this is already planned but just not mentioned.23 votes
Copy/Move within library, between libraries and across sites including to/from ODB is now possible.
For questions, please reach out via the SharePoint Techcommunity: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/SharePoint/ct-p/SharePoint
For any additional features, please search for or open new UserVoice suggestions.
It is crucial for many of our customers that they do not get their top-menu in SharePoint removed when accessing document libraries (the new OneDrive for Business look). Please make it possible to activate this so the users are not "lost" in their own intranet.23 votes
Top (Global) navigation works in modern libraries now — but not if you’re using managed navigation. We’re working on managed navigation support now.
Ok, so quick edit views seem to be not supported in the new UI...you can create a new quick edi view, but you can only use in the old UI. It could be nice, and necessary, to add support to quick views in the new UI23 votes
Apologies for delay on updating – quick edit is available for modern library UI!
I should be able to right click on a document in a library and open it in a new browser tab.23 votes
This is how it works in the upcoming new document library experience.
Make the "(+) new document" button in doclib match available ContentTypes in the New button from Ribbon.
Please make the "(+) new document" button from the web part and document libraries match available CTs as the ones available under the "New" button from the Ribbon. Please also include "Document sets" in the available CTs :)19 votes
Try this out in SharePoint Online and let us know what you think!
We love the new hub site feature, and the roll ups for sites and highlighted content. What we really need is a roll up web part for events, so that all event calendars accross the hub can show on one webpart.
Uses for this would be to show all events, company wide, happening this week.17 votes
Option to roll up events from “all sites in the hub” is now available
Please make the navigation items of the Hub site navigation bigger. More in taste of the command bar for instance or the normal site navigation. It is to small at the moment and I get a lot of comments on this from clients.
Thanks in advance,

Whilst the modern pages are improving all the time, with new web parts and layouts, I would like to see web part connections being made available in modern pages. This is extremely useful, especially when creating dashboard pages.17 votes
Thanks for your patience, we now support dynamic data between SPFx webparts. see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/spfx/dynamic-data
It would be great that we can store the captured invoice into SharePoint List17 votes
Hi everyone, we added this capability earlier this spring! Hope it helps!
I heard that in SharePoint 2016 there was NOT going to be any SharePoint Designer! PLEASE! I use it almost daily to provide simple workflows such as email to colleagues and other options that "Out of the Box" functionality can not allow and where InfoPath does not provide "If Then" statements for the ability to create Calendar items if conditions are met.17 votes
There is no new version of SharePoint Designer, but the 2013 version will continue to work with SharePoint 2016. We’re not taking it away, we’re just not investing more in SharePoint Designer
In SharePoint Online, the site settings option is missing in all the modern pages. It looks weird for all the users as they don't find the direct option to access the site settings page from the landing page of the site. It would be great if you include the site settings option in the modern pages/sites.16 votes
The site settings link is now in the gear dropdown on any modern page.
I'm looking at the new SharePoint page (formerly Sites) and I can't see an way of viewing at the full set of sites that I'm following. There are five of the sites I'm "Following" in the Sidebar and I can see some of these (and others) that I'm following on the main page (solid stars) under "Frequent". There doesn't seem to be a way of just listing all the sites that I'm following, which I could do before.16 votes
You can see the full set of sites you are following by clicking “see all” under the list of 5 followed sites
Can you add the additional ability to filter events on a webpart between a specific
'From' and 'To' date as is available on the All event page.13 votes
I would like to see the option to view more than 4 news items in the news web part13 votes
check out the new Hub News layout for the news webpart, https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Use-the-News-web-part-on-a-SharePoint-page-C2DCEE50-F5D7-434B-8CB9-A7FEEFD9F165.
This is great but the option to use the older library by default should be available. The admin should be able to select the "one drive" view or the SharePoint view. It also should reflect the branding applied to the site in this version it seems that the user went to other site. The navigation from SharePoint should be always visible.13 votes
Classic view is going nowhere anytime soon. Library owners and administrators will be able to choose the classic or the new experience. More information:
