SharePoint Add-In AppWeb Document Library allows to create PowerPoint however once it is created, you click on the PowerPoint and it does not render. it throws an error. Word, Excel works fine however this might be an issue with OWA Office Web Apps and PowerPoint Online. This issue started appearing from Jan 2018 across all Office 365 tenants. Is there any resolution from Microsoft on this? https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/SharePoint-Developer/Can-t-open-PowerPoint-files-from-a-Library-inside-an-Add-In/m-p/163739#M441968 votes
As a Sharepoint Developer I have used a lot the chrome control in Sharepoint Apps, however with the new App Launcher and My Apps Page, I would suggest that Microsoft creates an "app launcher chrome control", a piece of code we can "copy/paste" in our webforms/mvc/js apps that will show automatically the Apps Launcher.
I believe this will be a great way to navigate between LOB Apps that we create in the Offce 365 Platform.

We need the ability to unlock files via CSOM (with an App Only token) via the SPFile.ReleaseLock method. The flow would be similar to what we can accomplish on-prem:
$web = Get-SPWeb http://webUrl
$list = $web.Lists['Documents']
$item = $list.Items
$lockId = $item.File.LockId
This prevents needing to open support cases for long-lived lock files in scenarios where the end user is having connectivity issues causing long exclusive locks to be created, potentially locking the end user out of their own file.26 votes
OfficeJs Addin Forward current message: Header and Body as an attachment.
Can you please create an API endpoint that will allow a developer to forward the current message Header and Body as an attachment to an address. At the current Moment I believe when we try to forward a message as an attachment we have a message body with no header.1 vote
Embedding of iFrames doesn't allow customizing of zoom %. To obviate need to scroll, customizing zoom % view would be helpful.
Existing iFrame embed add-in doesn't allow customizing of zoom %. To obviate need for scrolling horizontally or vertically, customizing zoom % for viewing of smaller web parts would be helpful. (Tried CSS links and JS scripts but they are stripped out of HTML by SP 2013.)1 vote
We usually do content restore on a weekly for our BCP sites. Each we do content db restore, add-in seem to lose its granted permissions. we would like to be able to re-grant the add-in permissions via powershell.1 vote
