This is not unfortunately actionable for us as there are no actual details. Closing this as we can’t really do anything with given information.

Not sure on what subscription this was referring to, so hard to provide any specific support. If this is related on the Office 365 tenant subscription, please submit a support request through the tenant admin center. We cannot provide tenant subscription support through UserVoice.

  3. What does ODSP stand for?

What does ODSP stand for? Acronyms are vital, however only if they are explained in the footnote.

The referred article starts with following line – “The OneDrive and SharePoint Online (ODSP)”. ODSP means OneDrive and SharePoint.

We are happy to adjust the documentation as needed and feel free to add documentation suggestion feedback or even submit a pull request in GitHub for update suggestion.

  4. Is there a way to associate a Hub site into another Hub site?

I'm trying to create a network of sites collected under regional hub sites and in turn associate those regional hubs under a bigger hub site.

This is not supported. Site collections can be associated with hub sites, but you cannot associate hub site to hub site. In general, we would recommend using our community forums for these kinds of questions as this is not really a feature suggestion.

    See for example http://aka.ms/sppnp-community.

Thank you for the additional details on understanding the issue. Root cause here is indeed the fact that browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, IE) uses HTML and that does not support OLE objects… which means that issue is not really easily fixable as web technologies in general do not support the request behavior.

Now that there’s however more context, I’m sure that the Word product team could provide some alternative solutions for the problem, but let’s ensure that the request is submitted using the right forum.

We cannot unfortunately fix this in the SharePoint side as issue and request is related on Word, which is managed and engineered by a different organization, which also has a different UserVoice to track end-user requests.

As I cannot unfortunately re-submit or move this request to their UserVoice, would request to submit a new UserVoice issue at https://word.uservoice.com/forums/271331-word-for-the-web, so that it’s being tracked by…
