  1. How about a Fix for SharePoint 2013 installer.

Come on, guys. This just won't do:

Attempting to install any variety of SharePoint 2013 on a machine that has the .NET Framework 4.6.1 on it fails because the SharePoint installer says that it can't find .NET Framework 4.5.

    Yeah, seriously.

The prerequisite installer happily accepts 4.6.1 (as it should), but the product installer makes a newbie mistake in wanting "4.5" but not "4.5 or later".

Trying to downgrade 4.6.1 is a nightmare because it's inexcusably poorly documented (Aaron Stebner's blog post at https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/astebner/2016/03/04/mailbag-how-to-revert-to-older-versions-of-the-net-framework-4-family/#comment-37506) gives the only clear idea of what you have to do - uninstall a KB.

  3. Update Audience in Navigation Heading

I went to People and Groups and renamed a SharePoint Group from Fun-Together to "Fun Together" and went I went to Navigation and changed the Audience for a Navigation Heading (A document Library) in SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Edition SP1, it did NOT update the audience, it has a red underline. I had to update it by deleting it and adding the correct one "Fun Together." I do NOT think it is the spaces, I believe it is that it is different and audiences are not updating it. I don't know if a timerjob fixes this, but I noticed this after…

  6. Add Multiple Webparts at Once

When creating a page or updating one, you may have multiple webparts that you want to add. You have to click, add, wait, then click, add, wait. Why not click a bunch, with Ctrl-Click or something to select a bunch, maybe a "mulitiple button" and then checkbox and then put them on the page.
Also allow for several webparts to have the same updates say all 3 I select have Audience of xyz.

  8. NOT LIGHT BLUE WORDING - RE OH&S EYE sight issues

Go back to black on white. The workshop glare and light blue writing fail us. We are squinting at the screens, fiddling with the brilliance and putting cellophane over the monitors.

  9. In OneDrive, allow permissions setting be more apparent when sharing with people

I use OneDrive to share and transfer files. Currently, when I add people to share a file with, my only options are for for them 'to view' or 'to edit'. If I want to be allow for them to download the file, I need to add them first, then go to 'shared with', and edit their user permissions through 'advanced'. It literally took my 4 months to figure this out. Even the support team at Microsoft couldn't help me.

I suggest you provide all the different 'permissions level' options available in OneDrive interface.

  10. Column Default Values Enhancement

When you set column default values and use a choice field, the choices are not displayed. It would make setting this value much easier if the choices showed up in a drop-down like they do in the edit form.

It would also be nice if you could use a single line of text field, and when you created a folder, it would automatically use the folder name as the default value to tag any documents added to the folder.

  11. Remove "Get Skype for Business" from Office 365 home page

On the homepage of Office 365 there is currently a notice to "Get Skype for Business". This appears even if you have Skype for Business installed or if Skype for Business installations have been disabled by the administrator. Please do something about this as it's a massive usability red flag.

Either allow us to turn it off or get rid of it all together.

  12. Enable movement of content between farms

Best practice dictates that we develop in a dev farm, move to test/qa for user testing and verification before deploying into production. Why doesn't SharePoint Central Administration enable this process and encourage best practices?

We need an OOTB method to both 'refresh' dev & test environments from prod and to easily promote content, lists, libraries, pages etc. from dev to test and on to prod farms. Publishing is not the answer for everything, third party tools work but this is something that should be standard behavior in an enterprise software such as SharePoint.

  13. Calendar

Calendar site permission should only list group which has site level access. It should not list those groups with "Limited Access" who are assigned unique permission in the lower level calendar list.

  15. Concierge icon

You should have a concierge icon listed with the other icons at https://portal.office.com/Catalog?add=sub&adminportal=0 so that we can tell which Office 365 we are getting 24/7 Concierge support with.

  17. Started Services on Server

Filter Started Services on Server to only be visible as another "view" for "Started" instead of only "Configurable" "All" as the two options. Multiple Application and Web Servers make it challenging to find out what services are running with all the "Stopped"

  18. HNSC Zones

Increase the zones that can be created with HNSC from 5 to more than that as sometimes we need to have vanity URLs pointing to the same HNSC
