Hide sharepoint member list from other sharepoint members
It would be a useful option to add hide group members from sharepoint group list. If a company wanted to share say a bid or contract via sharepoint bidders would be able to see who they are bidding against just by clicking the site member list. This is just one use case but I'm sure there are others.

Sync Assistant Attribute from Azure AD
The standard assistant field is not synced from Azure AD into the SharePoint UPS. This is a standard attribute that should be synced.

Allow us to trigger SharePoint Online User Profile Sync... and give us the ability to see the timer job schedule
Currently we can wait from 5 minutes to 48 hours to see User Profiles Properties Sync from AAD to the SharePoint Online User Profile Service.. I've even see it take 72 hours.
This is a problem, especially when we use manager fields to workflows and approval processes.
It would be nice to be able to tirgger a profile sync, and view the profile sync schedule to we are aware of the wait times.

Ability to assign different default group views to user groups
Create the ability to assign a different default group view (how documents are grouped and sorted as default on site(s)) to different user groups vs. 1 default view for the entire organization.

Create user profiles in SPO for shared mailboxes (EDU tenants)
Our university is an EDU tenant of Microsoft, and we have a lot of shared mailboxes (as unlicensed users, sync'd from AD > AAD > SPO).
From time to time, SharePoint site admins wants to use such mailboxes to be the central contact point for enquiries etc, and the best way to do it is to put it up as the "page author".However, because it is an EDU tenant, unlicensed users do not get user profiles created in User Profile application (UPA), and show up as "external users" when they are entered, or email address is entered in people…

LET USERS ENTER/EDIT their profile information, specifically their email. We DO NOT use exchange or AD, so only admin can update that field, and they have to in the Sharepoint Admin Portal. It used to be a function but it was removed.

Change Edit My Profile link title
SharePoint Online User Profile managment still uses "Edit My Profile", this is not applicable most of the time. Please change to Edit profile to remove the confusion when editing someone else's user profile.

Mail notification for passwords about to expire
Actually there is no way to get notified when your password is about to expire, except if you're using the web portal.
But Office 365 gives HUGE opportunity to have an Office 2016 suite, so nobody uses the web portal because they already have Outlook.
So don't know why it's impossible to receive the notification through also an email.
The notification for the password already exists as a web notification on the portal, so it should be easier to add an option on this feature like "Also send an email to users".
Then if the option is checked in the…1 vote -
SharePoint 2016 on-prem Remove 'profiles missing from Import' should not take 30 days
SharePoint 2016 on-prem Configure Synchronization Connections - if deselecting containiners is required than powershell scripts need to be run to purge the users. The Purge only pushes the users to a 'profile missing from import' state/group. The actually removal of these user takes 30 days. Unclear of the necessity of this but even if there was a count of how many users are moved to this state/group would be helpful. This cleanup job runs in the back ground with no update or status of its success.
Thank you,

Have a recomended replacement for Organization Profiles
We are faced with finding a replacement for Organization Profiles. We know they are depreciated with start of 2013, and they are in 2016, but all MS contacts we've talked to have said it could get removed at any time. We heavily use Organization Profiles to keep track of the housing communities, their addresses and employees for our company as well as all of our division locations. My MS rep suggested I post here.
Has anybody else migrated their Organization Profiles to a new technology or have any ideas of where to look?

Add Promotes site feature functionality to SharePoint Online
I think Promotes site feature was a simple, nice and useful feature in SharePoint 2013. It gave SharePoint admin capability to list relevant important sites links for specific set of users and it was manageable from SharePoint 2013 Central Admin.
I’m not sure why this functionality has been removed from SharePoint online. You can still find “Manage Promote sites” under SharePoint Online admin center-->User Profile-->My site setting but once you add some links with relevant target Audiences to the list there is no place for this web part to appear on SharePoint Online. Previously in SharePoint 2013 this web part…1 vote -
Please remove check for "LastKnowParent" property when syncing users
According to: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/spses/2015/03/04/sharepoint-2013-active-directory-import-and-known-behaviors/
If the user object has value for a property “LastKnownParent” and that points to an OU which is not being imported, then that profile will be ignored during import process.
Please remove this check since it seem quit unnecessary. for using a nice word

Seen by
Under Manager User Properties, there is an option for Only Me or Everyone. It would be great if there was an option to choose another group - say management or supervisors - to be able to view the information the individual enters. This would be useful for us as the user uses a custom section to fill in Emergency Contact info. The manager would want access to this info, but we would not want it to be seen by peers and coworkers.
