  1. Actions when deleting objects registered in a retention list

    *English follows Japanese

    ■Title(件名):
    保留リストに登録されている場合のオブジェクト削除の動作について
    Actions when deleting objects registered in a retention list

    ■Description(内容):
    保留リストに入っているアイテムの場合、SharePoint Online のサイトが設定されている場合、親サイト、サブサイト、ドキュメント ライブラリ及びフォルダーの削除不可となるが、ユーザー側の操作では削除が可能として、アイテム保管ライブラリのように別の領域にコピーが格納されるようにする機能の拡充を希望します

    In the case of items registered in a retention list, if a SharePoint site has been set up, the parent site, subsites, document libraries and folders cannot be deleted, but on the user side we would like for deletion to be possible in the form of copying the objects to other locations in the same way as for item retention libraries.

  2. "Copy Link" on SharePoint document/folder creates unique permissions

    On a SharePoint site that I own, I noticed that once someone does a "Copy Link" against a document (or a folder), the document (or folder) gets applied with "Unique Permissions" and inheritance from the Parent folder are disabled.

    This makes managing user permissions complex and time-consuming.

    Can we disable this permission change? by allowing users to share document to users with existing permission only...

  3. Option to notify administrators when a given site is accessed by a user

    Option to notify administrators when a given site is accessed by a user

    ■Description(内容):
    特定の SharePoint Online のサイトにユーザーがアクセスした際に管理者へ通知する機能を実装してほしい。
    I would like an option to have a notification sent to administrators when a specific SharePoint Online site is accessed by any user.

  4. Control the opening of a downloaded file on a client using IRM

    Under the SharePoint Online IRM function, there is an option to disallow opening files in a browser, but there is no function to prevent opening the file on a client. Please add a function to disallow opening a file on a client machine after having downloaded it from SharePoint.

  5. Advanced settings for "Anyone" links (guest/anonymous links) at site level

    Currently 'Advanced settings for "Anyone" links' (or so-called guest/anonymous links) is only available at the organization level. We have cases that require sharing document links without time limit, but we are forced to allow all site members create links without time limit since there is no such option at the site level.

    It would be great to have this setting at the site level, so that we can allow a few sites to have unrestricted "Anyone" links only.

  6. Allow "Everyone except external users" Read only access for Office 365 group-connected Public sites

    Currently if an administrator changes the "Everyone except external users" group to Read only access, on an O365 group connected public site, there is a background job that will automatically change permission back to Edit. I would like to change this to allow administrators to permanently set permissions for this group to Read only.

    The behavior is described on this page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/default-sharepoint-groups

  7. Retrieve the folder file permission information of the document library

    It would be great that we could retrieve the folder file permission of the document library.

  9. Add breadcrumbs to the permissions page in SharePoint.

    When you get to the permissions page in SharePoint, there is no breadcrumb or identification to determine what object your modifying permissions for (list/library/item).

  10. Change the default option for Allow Editing

    I'd like to be able to change the default option for Allow Editing. Currently whenever someone shares, it defaults to edit.

    As an administrator, I'd like to be able to change this to default.

    This could prevent potential sharing accidents.

  11. Provide option to not revoke permissions in folders without inheritence

    Currently on a Library that has a group with permissions at the top level, when you remove that group permission from the top level, the same group is removed from all subfolders, including where inheritance is broken. I would like the option to remove the group either from all inherited folders or from all inherited folders and non-inherited folders. This option would be similar to when you are adding permissions and there is a check box "Share everything in this folder, even items with unique permissions" that pushes the new permission down through the non-inherited folders when checked.

  12. Allow less restrictive access control policy for specific SPO sites

    The ability to control access from unmanaged devices using the SharePoint Access Control functionality with Conditional Access is very useful.

    However, the limitation that individual sites can only have more restrictive controls than the organisation level setting (as described in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/control-access-from-unmanaged-devices#block-or-limit-access-to-a-specific-sharepoint-site-or-onedrive) is frustrating.

    It would be great if the organisation level setting could be set to restrict access from unmanaged devices but then defined sites that specifically need to be less restricted could be 'opened up' by reducing the restrictions.

    We can do this at a user-level using Conditional Access exclusions but there's no way to apply an exclusion…

  13. Allow move and copy from unmanaged devices (SharePoint&OneDrive)

    Hello,
    Currently, if we enable LimitedAccess for unmanaged devices, then the following scenario applies:
    1. Conditional Access & Tenant policies created etc.
    2. When trying to browse to OneDrvive/SharePoint site from Managed PC, we CAN do move or copy files inside the OneDrvive/SharePoint environment (not possible to move or copy to PC)
    3. When trying to browse to OneDrvive/SharePoint site from Unmanaged PC, we NOT able to do the move or copy files inside the OneDrvive/SharePoint environment (not possible to move or copy to PC)

    Please allow to do the Move/Copy from both Managed and Unmanaged PC's, because this still…

  14. Show all users who are granted access on the Manage Access window

    If we have 99 or more users who are access granted via links giving access, the Manage Access window shows some user name and “99+”, we are not able to see all user name in this window. I would like to know who has access or doesn’t, I want to request a feature to show all users who have access. Also, we want to know if access granted users don’t actually access the site, page, folder, so it would be great if we can obtain this kind of users via GUI or PowerShell.

  15. Delegate permissions to personal assistants

    In SharePoint it should be possible to delegate permissions for specific people. For example personal assistants from managers cannot access documents in SharePoint Online for their work because employees share the documents to the manager. In SharePoint User Profile Service is already a property Assistant, but this property is currently limited who can edit the Delve page. Please extend the property to assign SharePoint permissions to the assistants, or provide an alternative option for permission delegation.

  16. Control access to sharepoint via Country blocking.

    Would be nice to go in and allow or deny access to sharepoint via Country selection. I know Geo 2 IP locations are not 100% accurate. But If your a US based company, there is no need for any IP's registered to China or any other country to access your sharepoint/onedrive data.

  17. Improve virus management options in SharePoint Online

    Null virus management options in Office 365 Sharepoint avoid Infrastructure teams to comply with Security regulations. I think that options to manage anti-virus behaviour per tenant will be nice: like avoiding users to download an infected file and/or notify security teams.

  18. Allow site administrators to disable "Get A Link" without also disabling File Sharing

    Currently, the only way to prevent a user from using the Get a Link functionality is to disable all file sharing by site members. Get a Link creates a link which can be forwarded to anyone inside the company, granting them access not intended by the original sender.
    Although site members can do the same through file sharing, it is much less likely this would happen by accident, or at least without careful thought.
    We would like to be able to user member file sharing, but disable Get a Link.
