New term store manager allows manual sorting only one the first level of a term set
The new term store manager in sharepoint admin must provide the ability to manually sort level 2 and deeper in a term set. Right now it does only offer manual sorting on the first level of a term set.
We need to go back to the old interface to get this feature.

Sync all addributes imported to WAAD from AD Sync.
Sync all addributes imported to WAAD from AD Sync, sharepoint online you can directly map AD objects to onpremise sharepoint but not SPO. The limitation causes additional manual entry of items that are already available?

Custom metadata field for site or site collection properties
I am part of an enterprise that has multiple companies sharing the same tenant. It would be very helpful if we could classify sites and/or site collections. I'd envision this allowing search filtering as well as an easy way for end users to tell which company a site belongs to (HR - Company A vs. HR - Company B).
This could be highly controlled using a managed metadata term set.1 vote -
Can we have some support for auto-taxonomy term extraction from a large set of documents.
In this case we have large set of documents and would like some help to extract the right set of keywords which would help us tag those set of documents and new ones coming in the future

Allow the People taxonomy to delete terms automatically when removed from AzureAD
The People taxonomy automatically adds new terms for term sets like Department and Job Title when a users details are updated in AzureAD (manually or via an incremental sync) however terms are not automatically removed from the taxonomy in the popular scenario of a department name change or branch closure (its common for a remote branch to be listed as a department).
Without this its impossible to use the Department term set as a valid source of truth within business solutions within O365 without devoting manual resources to triage old department names. Organisationally most businesses will not want users being…

Pinned term auto updates
When using a "PIN Term with Children" to place items in a site collection navigation from a single source (global navigation), the pinned items should auto update if the source term set is updated. Currently you have to delete and re-pin all the site collections.

Add option to inherit metadata from folders
While Document Sets may work well for some scenarios, it doesn't work for ours. In an instance where multiple folders full of documents are uploaded to a library, you can then add metadata to the folders using the Quick edit feature. However, the metadata does not cascade down to the files within the folders. It is a very time-consuming, manual process to open each folder and add the metadata to all the files within the folder. Unfortunately our use-case requires the use of the folders. We have yet to find a suitable third party tool or Flow solution that meets…

Cross Site Collection Global Navigation
We need a way to implement global navigation that spans many site collections. Need a simple list of 6 or so links that will be consistent across all sites. I don't really want to turn the publishing feature on as it complicates content editing for most users.

Increase Content Type Hub Publish Interval
Really need this interval to be much more frequent and an option to re-publish on demand. Can't wait 30-60 minutes or more for testing and an update. We also don't want to go back to an on-premise installation.

Use GUIDs for Site Columns Instead of Names
I would like you to alter how site columns are handled so that I can create custom new columns with the same name as the base columns, such as Department and Location. GUIDs should be used to keep track of the columns, and not by the actual name when used to create the column.

Termen/labels eerst goedkeuren voor gebruik
Het zou handig zijn wanneer nieuwe termen moeten worden goedgekeurd door een bevoegde gebruiker.
Dit om wildgroei aan termen/labels te voorkomen.1 vote -

Remove the 2000 term limit for managed navigation term sets
Given that this was touted as the way to go for catalog based sites, it's a woefully small limit.
We've got our WWW site on SP2016 and we're already at about 1500 terms in our navigation. A couple more years and we'll be banging against this limitation.
