Synchronize Mobile phone userprofile property on Sharepoint Online
In Sharepoint Online, some user profile properties are not synchronized with Azure AD : for example Mobile Phone".
So, I suggest :
- add "Mobile Phone" to the syncronization process
or
- give the SP Administrator to choose user profile properties to be syncrhonized.Thanks.

User Profile Sercvice Application
A little less complicated and UPS configuration will definitely help and reduce issues that occur during and after configuration.

Bug Fix: Active Directory group name changes should syncronize to SharePoint Online site Collection
Note: This idea reflected in case# 616031193642732.
Scenario: An AD group is assigned permissions to a SharePoint OL site within a SharePoint Security Group.
Problem: Group name changes in active directory are automatically reflected in O365 after DirSync runs but name changes are not automatically updated in existing SharePoint site collection.
Solution: Ensure changes to AD group names in O365 are automatically updated in the SharePoint OL site collection.

Sync profile pictures across ALL of office 365
For large companies who want to upload user images for the user it does not sync across the whole office 365 platform. We uploaded user images into exchange online via powershell. Their picture shows up everywhere except sharepoint. To get to show up in sharepoint that user would have to sign in > go to their delve page > click edit profile > and then click save. We cannot rely on companies with 1000+ employees to all follow that instruction

Set users to follow specific sites in Sharepoint Online by default or with Powershell
I would like to set users to follow specific sites. The idea is to follow Company newsfeed and Department newsfeed by default if new users are set up. I found out SharePoint 2013 is a way to set users to follow sites - but there is no refering commandlet for SharePoint Online.

Improve the solution for changing the order of User Profile properties
Develop a robust solution for the colossal frustration that is manually changing the order of User Profile properties in SharePoint Online. Ideally the UI would be improved and a CSOM method would be provided for more complex / bulk operations.

I would like to have the City and Country attributes in User Profile attributes
I dont find the City and Country attributes in the User Profile attributes for the users though the attributes exists in Active Directory. Please add the two attributes in User Profile as well.

Automatically synchronise Picture and other User Properties to Sharepoint Online
Currently the User Profile synchronisation from Online AD is very limited and does not include the ability to map additional properties. At the very least I would like to see photos automatically synchronised.

SharePoint Online People picker does not resolve people in Azure AD groups
I've found that in SPOnline, if you add Azure AD groups (I've only tested with Security Groups at this stage), to the SharePoint groups (e.g. Owners, Members, Visitors), then the people pickers inside that Site Collection, will not resolve people.
To get around this, you either have to add (and then remove) the person, as an individual, manually to any of the SP Groups, or that person has to login to the Site Collection.
This is a real pain when you're trying to set up sites before people access them and the fact that it's localized to Site Collections, means…

Managing User Profile Properties with Delve
Managing User Profile Properties: be able to show on the Delve welcome page what we want to show from user properties! It's urgent to be able to do that!

Update edit User Profile experience
Please improve the edit user profile experience for the end-users. I absolutely love the look and feel of the delve profile, but I would love to see a edit user profile experience that is more aligned with this profile.

User Profile Management
The current interface is poor. When creating custom user properties and setting the privacy to everyone, the "can user edit..." field becomes read only and you have to save and go back into the property again to set the field.
The property re-ordering mechanism is terrible and limits where properties can be placed. Properties should be able to be places under any heading.
Finally new sections should show up on a users profile page instead of coming under the heading of "More Info". A number of our clients require this feature.

AD import picture
Given that all other MS software supports collecting user pictures from AD it would be good if SP AD import could do the same. I have seen so many different methods and most persisted with the old Sync service built on FIM. Now that this has gone there should be something out of box to get pictures in. Seems counter intuitive if AD/Exchange/Skype4B all get the AD picture but SP has something different.

expand the cmdlet feature enabling me to get accessed the user profiles on SharePoint admin center.
*English follows Japanese
■Title(件名):SharePoint 管理センターのユーザー プロファイルにアプローチが可能なコマンドレットの機能拡充希望
↓Wishing to implement the feature of cmdlet to access to the user profiles on SharePoint admin center.
↓I am currently unable to change the user profiles on SharePoint admin center even if I use the default cmdlet. To decrease the workloads in case a number of users change their profiles on GUI, I hope the cmdlet to be implemented that could enable me to edit user profiles along with a default feature.

Allowing other user properties in AD sync with SharePoint Online User Profile
We need to populate all other SharePoint Online User Profiles that are missing. The User profiles are available in AD and Azure AD. But not in SharePoint Online.
Bulk import is high maintenance. we need a permanent solution of automatic synchronization from Azure AD/Office365.

Enable ad-hoc or scheduled full-sync for SPO profiles
In our organization we noticed that SPO user profiles are not being updated when their line-manager UPN get's renamed.
After case investigation with MS engineer it turned out to be the behavior by desing on SPO backend systems.
Currently tenant admins have no control over the sync process, so it would be very beneficial to either run full-sync with AAD more often or let SPO admins ability to trigger the process manually via PowerShell or similar.

Enable starting the user profile sync service without making the farm account local admin
This has been an issue since SP2010. Having the farm account permanently in the local admin group on the server running UPS generates security warnings (and rightly so!). Removing the account breaks UPS when it needs to be reprovisioned during a reboot or when using the OOTB farm backup.

Group name change results may be ignored on the screen while I am granting Sharepoint's right
The security group's display name is ignored in Sharepoint site collection when it is changed within Active Directory's federation environment. I think it would be inconvenient unless the change result works with Active Directory because I need to change regularly the names due to our organizational management.
I would like you to improve this behavior although I am aware that this is assumedly created because of current structure.5 votes
