Please remove check for "LastKnowParent" property when syncing users
According to: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/spses/2015/03/04/sharepoint-2013-active-directory-import-and-known-behaviors/
If the user object has value for a property “LastKnownParent” and that points to an OU which is not being imported, then that profile will be ignored during import process.
Please remove this check since it seem quit unnecessary. for using a nice word

Help me create a new page
In o365, click New and users get 3 options. Which option should I use?
I think you'll say the 3rd one. The new one. I think Microsoft should bold the 3rd one and move it to the top. Right?
Are the first 2 basically the same, with the 2nd one giving more extensibility?
Do you think those first 2 legacy choices should be combined?
If not I'd change the name of the 2nd option from "Web Part Page" to "Wiki Page with Layout options"
Do you think the 3rd option "Site Page" should be renamed to "Modern Page"
In general…

Support Windows Server Core Installation
Currently only Standard and Datacenter Windows is supported: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262485(v=office.16).aspx#section4 and https://www.danielbrown.id.au/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=36
A Server Core Installation would be great.1 vote -
Control Database permissions from Central admin
As of current scenario, we have to login on SQL server via SSMS to fix the permissions for the additional services accounts. There are companies who use the different proxy accounts to use different services including SharePoint & 3rd party. There are couple of times when permissions get dropped or missing on content db casue major issue. If we get an option via central admin to fix permission on db will make our life easier. As our admin account already has DB creator and Security admin fix role on sql side.
I am thinking, if we have another option along…

We received "Bad Request - Request Too Long" error when we tested multiple user account on single computer
We received "Bad Request - Request Too Long" error when we tested multiple user account on a single computer.
We just try to log-in by Account1 and log-out. Try to log-in by another account (e.g. Account2), repeated this sequence for 10s of accounts.
We saw this problem on Microsoft Edge and by removing cache on Edge, the problem has gone.
We believe this is a kind of bug and hopefully resolved in the future.1 vote -
Update the filters for managed metadata.
Currently if you have a group of managed metadata that has submetadatas within the group, the filter function do not work as well as it should.
For instance lets say you have the following terms:
North AmericaCanada
Ontario
Quebec
Alberta
USA
New York
California
Chicagoand the end users would like to select both Ontario and Alberta for their search, it will only allow them to select one of those choices.

OneNote - shredded storage exclusion
OneNote is edited a lot by end users. When it is stored in Sharepoint 2013, the shredded storage mechanism tends to store it in different blocks. When one has to download OneNote from SharePoint it takes a long time. So two things we can do here:
1> exclude One Note from Shredded Storage.
2>Provide a toll to consolidate OneNote blocks on a regular basis to avoid the performance issue1 vote -
Seen by
Under Manager User Properties, there is an option for Only Me or Everyone. It would be great if there was an option to choose another group - say management or supervisors - to be able to view the information the individual enters. This would be useful for us as the user uses a custom section to fill in Emergency Contact info. The manager would want access to this info, but we would not want it to be seen by peers and coworkers.

Hi Team, There is no option on sharepoint sites for users to ask for read/write permissions if they already have read-only access.
Hi Team, There is no option on sharepoint sites for users to ask for read/write permissions if they already have read-only access. The only option left to them is they need to inform owner by verbally or email which doesn't sound good

PowerPivot for SharePoint 2016 Bug - Snapshots only generate for localhost
I found a bug with PowerPivot for SharePoint 2016 and wanted to make sure it was brought to the team's attention. In short, I found that there's a hard dependency on "localhost" by the Excel Services REST API in SharePoint 2016. This means that workbook thumbnails will not generate in anything other than the first web app (if configured a specific way). I posted a blog with the details here: http://info.summit7systems.com/blog/bug-report-powerpivot-for-sharepoint-2016-thumbnails-not-generating. Support case 117021415318755 was created, so hopefully the bug report was submitted through it.
Thanks, team!

Make level access with sharing links more obvious
An option to have the default level sharing permission 'view only'. At the moment all sharing links are edit by default but it's not obvious to the user from the 'get link' or 'share' dialogue box that they have to click on the link to change the settings. So whilst we need the option for external users to have edit access to content that's shared with them, this would not be our default unless it was clear at the point the end user is getting the link that they can change to view only. Please make this more obvious.

Sharepoint Office 365
We have a small team of 5 People within the organisation using Office365 SharePoint. Roughly a year and more ago on multiple instances SharePoint on the local teams individual PC's was not allowing the back of local SharePoint data, so in my particular case the team at Telstra who support Office365 in Australia had to make back ups of the SharePoint data however I have now up to 3 or 4 backups personally and this was caused when the team said that our naming conventions where to long and not acce3ptable with SharePoint online. The issiue is we cannot migrate…

healthy company
Microsoft should provide the companies of a good security system for the documents and websites and an easy oversight of needs of a director: writing letters, contact via mail and video. The rest, inside information and contacts belongs to the company.

Maintain version history when copying files in Sharepoint
When copying files in Sharepoint (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Move-or-copy-a-folder-file-or-link-in-a-document-library-00e2f483-4df3-46be-a861-1f5f0c1a87bc) it should retain the version information of the files moved rather than just creating a new version of the file, basically making the latest version, 1.0.
This is a useless feature at the moment as it only serves as another method to copy files between sites and is no different than downloading them and uploading them to another site.

Consistent labelling and navigation in Sharepoint Admin Center
Better align labelling of objects and features especially where the object is alive and there are stages to configuring and then using it. I.e. don't use one label at the point of setting up the object to then use a completely different label for the same value after it's been created. Consistent labelling of objects and features across views please i.e. App Secret is referred to when creating / connecting an App but after the app is created there's no reference to the App secret via the admin center. It can be retreived via some Powershell but for something that's…
