Enable CMIS in Sharepoint Online

Since OneDrive for Business on the Macintosh does not sync Sharepoint Libraries or Team Sites, I was excited to find an open source sync client called CmisSync. I installed it on my Mac, only to find it will sync with Sharepoint on premise, but not Sharepoint online. Apparently Microsoft failed to enable CMIS in Sharepoint Online. This is a request to review and reconsider this feature. Alternatively, please fix the new OneDrive (DF) client so that I can sync said libraries.

We often work with external users, and since the "next-gen" OneDrive client upgrade these users cannot sync sharepoint document libraries to their desktops any longer. CmisSync would be a solution here, or alternatively just fix the next-gen client so it has the same functionality Groove.exe had.

I'll be the first to admin that next-gen client is an awful lot better and much more hassle free. It's just this piece of functionality that we're missing
