365 – SharePoint Online, Usage and Activity Reports
We need information on user with ID activity per site collection with URL, which user has opened, changed, synched, downloaded, published files within which site collection with URL. Currently the tenant admin report shows cumulative data: nr of files opened synched etc. per user, but not clear in which site collections and vice versa nr of files edited within a site collection but without information on the users. Users activity on particular site collection is indeed the most important usage statistic, in order to answer the simple question " who is using what in sharepoint".

Site collection administators should be able to do this

It is frustrating not to be able to track user logon data in SharePoint online about specific Site Collections. Audit log reports only show content viewing data for SharePoint server. We really need this for SharePoint online too. There is user data in the Office 365 Admin Console, but it does not give information about which site collection a user visited. As a school this data is very important to us in governing how and when users view content.
