Outlook 2016 - Attach SharePoint File permissions
When a user uses the "Attach File" in Outlook 2016 and chooses a file on SharePoint online they are asked to allow recipients edit or view to the file. Can we have SharePoint check the permissions of the recipient rather than the sender? Currently if the sender does not have rights to make security changes to a Site, List or Library the sender gets and email with the following:
"You don't have permission to give others access to this file.
The message was sent, but the following people might not be able to access the attachment:"
Sender will get this even if the recipient has rights to the document. So it causes unwarranted calls to TAC about the email the sender just received.
