Enable IP Security At Site Collection
On SharePoint Online you can whitelist specific IP ranges at the tenant level but this isn't necessarily granular enough. There are many instances where I would prefer to be able to force an IP restriction on a specific site collections so I can ensure that I outsider can't access the content or so I can treat the content as public (no login required) for specific sites but not the entire internet.

The ability to manage site-level access on specific IPs would be a very useful feature that would help much more efficiently manage access to online sharepoint resources. Especially after migrating from other on-premise solutions and you need to manage site-level access.

Extremely important functionality required for enterprise level deployments. Pls provide at the earliest.

This is pushing us to use other products since we can't collaborate with outside users and still lock down our healthcare related share points to our hospitals IP

Why this feature is so much delayed. It must have. Or MS wants us to buy a new tenant for each requirement?

This is a very important missing feature at the base licensing level.

Please implement at the base licensing level. Classification and segregation of data is a fundamental security principle.

Very important missing feature, do not want to force all SharePoint sites over the VPN while also excluding mobile devices etc which would limit the usability of SP.

This is a very important feature that needs to be implemented ASAP. We have 3 Site Collections that needs to be targeted to different user groups. Intranet, Extranet, and another Extranet site for Boar of Directors. Without this feature, we would have to use other 3rd party solutions for security reasons.

this was added in 2018 and no one from Microsoft thinks this is of value for companies.
Excuse me, but it looks like MS does not care about security at all. -

I wish I could up vote for this more than once. This seems like critical functionality to secure a file server to sharepoint migration - e.g. it should only be accessed by employees at the office.
However, to also take advantage of the benefits of sharepoint (collaborating with external users) you should be able to lock down only designated site collections.

Thanks for the feedback. We're evaluating granular policies.
