Site creation and custom content types
When creating a classic SharePoint site, custom content types are there upon site creation, but when creating modern sites either via sharepoint or teams, the custom content types are expected to appear within 8 hours but may take up to 48 hours. Normally they appear within an hour, but not always. It would be great if modern sites worked like classic and they were there immediately, but if that is not possible, it would be nice to have a power shell command at the site level that could request a content type sync to happen immediately for that individual site. Waiting on custom content types is seriously impeding our Team/Site delivery SLA.

This is recently observed that it is taking more than 2 days sometimes. Our solution based on content type hub content types is broken now in production. Without content types, site is unusable and we have multiple sites created every day for business. I am surprised the voting is so low for this high level visibility issue.

This would be incredibly handy for when we want to create templates (using site design + flow + PNP) for rich sites.
I would even settle for a 'one off pull' by a new site collection from the content type hub so it is ready with the enterprise content types for extra changes.
At the moment I have to tell clients 'you need to wait an hour between creating your site and actually using it' because I have hard coded an hour wait before all the provisioning happens.
Let me know if I am doing something wrong! Happy to be shown a better way. :-)
