Need to add Task list to SharePoint Modern experience

We use Task list A LOT on our "classic" sites. The last of support for Task list on "Modern" experience is a show shopper for us to move to modern experience.

    It's a show stopper for me too. Need to manage tasks and have the ability to send them out to people.

    Why would the functionality of a modern site be less than the classic site? Please add Task List to the available parts that I can put on the homepage. this is how our staff request time off.

    I really really really need to be able to add the Task list to the SharePoint Modern page. HELP!!
