add configurations for enabling/disabling Workflow Auto Cleanup and Auto Cleanup Days
Would like access to Workflow Auto Cleanup as my company has audit and compliance restrictions around retention of workflow approvals and I had to find out the hard way that SharePoint Online permanently deletes workflow history older than 60 days and I can't turn it off.

Enable "Content Viewer" reports so we can see who has viewed docs for Audit purpoes
The Audit Trail Functionality feature within Microsoft Office 365 does not currently allow “Content Viewer” reports to be produced. Further to discussions with Microsoft Technical Support Engineer, there are no plans to have this feature enabled. Can you please look into enabling this feature as this is extremely important when auditing sites and looking at who has viewed documents.

Improve Analytics support for SharePoint Online & O365 sites
We can't fetch the page views, pages viewed by the users and other analytical data for the SharePoint Online & O365 sites, as the Usage & Health Analyzer service is not configured. It would be of great help if the analytics for the SharePoint Online & O365 works in the same manner of On-Premise sites (or) similar to SharePoint 2010.

Log Sharepoint (online) admin changes
Request for change regarding ‘Events
like changing the Auto Acceleration using Set-SPOTenant are not audited´.
We had an unexpected change serveral weeks ago, and this change was not logged in admin audit report or any event log (as confirmed via Microsoft Premier case), thus not allowing us to know who performed the change and to perform action to prevent similar change in future. Thus, we request that all SP admin changes are logged and accessible via audit report. Thanks!17 votes -
Enable auditing of the Term Store
Currently it is not possible to audit changes to the Term Store. Given that changes made in the term store can significantly impact thousands of documents, adding, editing, merging, deleting of terms should be audited so we have the capability to track who is making changes.

Undo Permission Change
It would be great to have an undo permission settings in SP. Currently users can quickly rectify the mistakes of accidental deletion of content. However there is nothing that helps to rectify any changes made to the permission model i.e. accidentally re inherit permissions from parent, severing all unique changes made.

Origianl Domain Name Change
Looks like I'm stuck with the original domain name I chose in the early days of OS365 creation/adoption; ideally I would like to be able to change the domain name, to match my new company name. I'm reliably informed that Microsoft can't do this at present...but its not unusual for a company to change its name and one would expect that SharePoint and associated email accounts, etc could change to suit.

Azure AD access review on level of single (shared) site collection
External sharing is decided by site owner, and configured on site collection level. Access review should be on same granularity. Current it is only possible on group level (but group can be authorized to multiple sites, thus also multiple site owners), or App = SharePoint Online, thus for ALL site collections.

Deploy Audit Logs for SharePoint Online
SharePoint Online does give the ability to view Usage reports, but does NOT have the ability to generate Audit log reports.
We would love to see this available, the framework is there, you can generate them, but receive an error after generation. Many of our customers cannot understand the failure to provide them with this critical feature, although the support article says: " ...is not available because of storage and performance concerns."

Method for automatically collecting the audit logs of Site Collections
*English follows Japanese
■Title(件名):
サイト コレクションの監査ログ自動で収集する方法
Method for automatically collecting the audit logs of Site Collections
■Description(内容):
Until recently, the audit logs of site collections would automatically be trimmed and could be regularly saved in a document library.
However, recently it has ceased to be possible to automatically trim the logs.
It is time-consuming to manually gather the logs and upload them to libraries, so we would like to see the previous automatic functionality restored.7 votes -
Audit logs for o365 groups
I need an audit log that would be in the Office 365 portal Security and Compliance Center that would show users actions for all 0365 groups, including deletes. According to support this does have this data, only MS support can access this data.

Find another way to handle workflow history in the long-term.
I'm aware that keeping the history (for its table joins) in the long run is harming to the farm, so just disabling the workflow auto cleanup timer job is not an option.
You should offer a way look for workflow history by demand, in a way the table joins are made at the moment, and not kept. Even if that takes minutes, final user will understand. Maybe if that can be made/hosted on a separate database in order not to stress out both config and content databases.
Another option is to have workflow actions audit-able and, that way, it can…

Better Site Collection Level Auditing and Web Application Level Auditing
Sometimes there are features that are enabled on a Site Collection that can cause end users significant headaches.
It would be good if there was an option to enable Auditing on a Web App Level for Features and the same for at the Site Collection and Site Level with details on who enabled the feature and when the feature was enabled.
This is especially useful for use cases where there is a custom developed feature and you are determining an issue with this either across a site, site collection, web application or even across farms.
A key example of this…

Allow RegEx for DLP Policies
Allow RegEx for DLP Policies
Besides the fixed types of sensitive information it would be great to have the possibility to define custom rules for discovering sensitive data (which is different in every organization). This could be done via a Regular Expression.6 votes -
Allow access of files cached in the IIS Blob Cache to also make it to the audit database
In SP2013 you cannot successfully audit files that are being cached in the IIS blob cache. I'm hoping that this will be improved in SP2016. The use of IIS blob caching for certain file types (in our case .mp4) interferes with auditing in SharePoint 2013. If the users GET a file that will be cached in the IIS blob cache, only the first request for that file will be recorded in the audit database. If there are four web front ends, auditing will show four requests. All subsequent requests for that file will not be audited while the file is…

Cannot enable Site Collection Audit logging
When we create a new site collection, once the site is provisioned and configured for our users, we need to go into Site Settings> Site Collection Administration> Site Collection audit settings so that we can enable audit logging for this site collection. The ability to audit activity on all site collections is a security requirement by the business. Because of this business need, we are not able to release sites to users for use until the audit logging is enabled.
Right now, when we attempt to enable auditing for the site collection from the AuditSettings.aspx page we are getting an…
