  1. 'Shared with external users' report - Automate on a schedule

    The Site Usage - Shared with external users report is a nice feature, however you have to run it manually and save it to a library. It would even better if we can get this report sent out to the Site Owners of the site or an email address specified on a schedule (i.e monthly).

    This would better assist staff in getting an insight to who has access to what, driven automatically and delivered to their inbox.

  2. Audit Logs Not Generating for a Few Actions

    We have observed that there are a few actions with respect to SharePoint Online, which when performed (either via SPO admin center or PowerShell) doesn't generate any event in Audit logs. Here is a list of such actions:

    UI

    SharePoint Admin Center->Settings->Custom Script
    SharePoint Admin Center->Settings->Connected Services->Block SharePoint 2013 Workflows

    PowerShell

    PS> Set-SPOTenant -DisabledWebPartIds
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -DisallowInfectedFileDownload
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -ExternalServicesEnabled
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -NoAccessRedirectUrl
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -ODBAccessRequests
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -ODBMembersCanShare
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -OfficeClientADALDisabled
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -OwnerAnonymousNotification
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -UsePersistentCookiesForExplorerView
    PS> Set-SPOTenant -UserVoiceForFeedbackEnabled
    PS> Set-SPOTenantSyncClientRestriction -DisableReportProblemDialog

  3. Cannot enable Site Collection Audit logging

    When we create a new site collection, once the site is provisioned and configured for our users, we need to go into Site Settings> Site Collection Administration> Site Collection audit settings so that we can enable audit logging for this site collection. The ability to audit activity on all site collections is a security requirement by the business. Because of this business need, we are not able to release sites to users for use until the audit logging is enabled.

    Right now, when we attempt to enable auditing for the site collection from the AuditSettings.aspx page we are getting an…

  4. Allow admins to set the limit of versions to keep across all documents libraries.

    Allow admins to globally set the number of versions that are kept in each document library. There is no reason for users to keep 500 versions of any document and this is the current default. Would be great to be able to manage that setting and other across all document libraries.

  5. Site content trending report

    On the new site contents page in SharePoint we have the content trending report.

    Could we:

    1. get a number on the blue bar for the views instead of having to mouse over

    2. export this to Excel option or at least view these analytics in the Admin usage reports

    Thanks

  7. discussion board auditing

    When a discussion board item is deleted, there is currently no trace of the content in the recycle bin (to be restored), or the audit logs to show what was deleted.

    The discussion board is a great feature in SharePoint Online that allows users to collaborate and share ideas as well as ask questions. However for most companies it can be an avenue of abuse via a somewhat public forum. It would bring a lot of confidence to roll this out more if there is the ability to find what was deleted in the audit logs. So that if a…

  8. Document Deletion Policy in OneDrive for Business

    Need the document deletion policy to run as advertised in the MS Article -->

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Overview-of-document-deletion-policies-55e8d858-f278-482b-a198-2e62d6a2e6e5?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US&fromAR=1

    At the moment there's no way to guarantee it would run, when would it run, even if it runs whether it would delete items as mentioned in the criteria etc. The first time it runs it indexes and expires the data. The second time it runs (which could be in 1 week, 2 weeks, God knows when) it would delete the data - that too there's no guarantee. I mean this is damn stupid & really lame. Why create a feature that doesn't work at…

  9. Site Collection Auditing in its own database

    Currently, Site Collection auditing logs to the Content Database that the Site Collection is currently on.
    It would be nice to have an optional setting to log to its own database or say the Logging database.
    Furthermore, ability to turn on auditing across multiple site collections and consume audit reports in a meaningful manner to Business users.

  11. Create a report for all shared files and folders on all sites

    Currently there is an option to create a report of all shared files and folders on each Sharepoint site, I am requesting to have the option to create the report from the admin portal / powershell for all sites at once.

    We hope a feature will be provided to associate and check file versions with Office 365 audit logs

    ■Description(内容):
    退職したユーザーにファイル流出疑惑が発生した場合、Office 365 監査ログよりログを出力し、ファイルおよびファイルのバージョンを確認したい。
    ※ アイテム保持ポリシーを利用しており、アイテム保管ライブラリに削除したファイルが各バージョン分保存されるよう設定している。
    しかし、現在の機能では出力したログがどのファイルのバージョンと紐づいているかを確認および識別する方法がない。
    Office 365 監査ログとファイルのバージョンを紐づけて確認することができるよう機能の拡充を希望します。
    We want to output logs from Office 365 audit logs to check files and their versions in the case when retired users are suspected of leaking out files.

    However, there is no feature currently to confirm and identify which file…

    About saving audit data on SharePoint Online

    ■Description(内容):
    SharePoint Online でサイト コレクションを監査のため保持しようとするとテナントの容量を使用してしまう。
    Exchange Online の監査データのように無制限で保存可能な仕組みを提供してほしい。
    When trying to keep a Site Collection on SharePoint Online for auditing, it uses up the tenant’s storage capacity.
    I would request to have an unlimited storage plan for audit data in SharePoint Online, such as exists for Exchange Online audit data.

  14. Enable the "File Plan Report" feature for libraries exceeding the list view threshold of 5000 items (SharePoint Online).

    Enable the "File Plan Report" feature for libraries exceeding the list view threshold of 5000 items (SharePoint Online) or give us an alternative method to view the entire folder hierarchy incl. files, broken inheritance, retentions & rules.

  15. Audit Events Settings on by Default

    Currently auditing settings are turned off by default on new sites. I did not know this until an event occurred that required me to look at the audit logs. To my dismay the audit events function was not enabled. This is silly. Auditing should be turned on by default.

  16. A common Recyling bin view across all site users' with "Deleted By" field for Site Owner will have great benefit.

    This will be a view of deleted items across all site users' with "Deleted By" field and location of the document for Site Owner/SharePoint Administrator, so they can easily locate any deleted document to restore or question user for auditing purpose.

  17. Apply default complience label

    Currently, when there are labels published form the security and compliance center, we have to select a default label for each individual document library.

    It would be great to be able to configure a default behavior for new libraries from the SharePoint admin center

  18. Security and Compliance site permission change alerts

    It would be great to be able to target specific site collections for permission change event alerting in the Security and Compliance Center.

    Currently right now you have to target the entire SharePoint Online tenant if you want to configure alerts around Site Collection Admin added and SharePoint site permissions change events which might not be required outside of sites that contain confidential data.

  19. Allow users to bulk assign O365 Labels

    I believe it would be a good idea to allow end users to be able to apply 'labels' in bulk.

    Our reasoning is we are looking to implement retention using Labels and although we will have a default label assigned for '2 year' retention, we have 2 other labels users can apply manually to their documents (7 year and indefinite).
    This is fine on creating new documents as they will be able to choose label on adding it, however on implementing this to our users some libraries have thousands of documents within and therefore would be extremely time consuming to…
