  1. AIP and Sensitivity Labels

AIP and Sensitivity Labels causes documents to be non-searchable. This causes documents to 'vanish' especially when the owner becomes unavailable and is the only person who knows where the document resides.

  3. Log the OneDrive clients synced with SharePoint libraries

It would be very helpful to see who has what libraries, or folders in libraries, synced with the OneDrive client, and some of the basic details of that machine such as OS,
    Computer Name, User Name, etc

  6. Allow MS Flow to be triggers from a retention policy

We need the capability of triggering a MS Flow when content meets retention policy conditions. The aim being to wrap the content in appropriate business processes for managing the retention of the content. The current configuration for a retention policy is to email a specific user account. This is difficult as the user may no longer be with the organisation. Likewise it should not be a 'service account' as how many service accounts should we be expected to maintain. Having the option to trigger a MS Flow removes numerous steps in the administration process.

  7. Add versioned field that captures approval information (date/time/username via system login information to document list/outcome/Comments).

For approvals, add a versioned non-editable field that captures approver/date/time/status/comments. That way, even if the workflows gets deleted, the results are captured somewhere. By versioning and non-editable, capture the data as it is recorded in the workflow, then there is no way of changing it thus making it auditable.

  9. Sharepoint Subsite Auditing and Alerting

Current Alert Policies need to be expanded upon to enable granular alerting on parts of a tenant, i.e. a subsite of Sharepoint Collection.

Our business requires that audit and alerting of Admin level access to subsites with sensitive information - such as HR. With this, it means that even admins will not be able to access restricted content without ringing the alarm bells.

To add to this, why on earth does Microsoft have a single global on/off switch for audit logging. This is not necessary as most organisations may only require audit logging of a smaller subset of data. This…

  10. Onedrive security feature for Business

    Hi guys!

I would like to recommend a security feature which is to control when the colleagues are able to access the shared folders. Example from 9am - 6pm, Mondays - Fridays.

This is due to company's business requirement.

    With Regards,

    Stephen

  11. Delete Permission Groups in Bulk

We run a PPM system that uses SharePoint Online and Project Online - the system creates 6 permission groups for every project created - even test projects where a SharePoint site is associated with it. Now for us to clean up the groups - there appear to be only 2 options: remove them one by one (very tedious) or remove them using scripting (PowerShell?). I feel like there should be an easier way to view the list of groups and allow you to click-select multiple groups to delete them (or perform similar actions). This is how it works when you…

  13. When using forced check out/in, it's completely impossible to re-arrange a folder structure without checking out files individually

As the title explains, when using forced check out/in, it's completely impossible to re-arrange a folder structure without checking out files individually. And yes, I do know you can bulk check out files IF:

    • you revert to the classic interface

    • you select the files inside every folder

But this clearly shows it's virtually impossible to change a folder structure with let's say 50 sub folders each containing hundreds or thousands of files given that you need to go in and out of every folder multiple times.

Disabling the forced check out/in is for many a big no-no as that functionality…

  16. Web App Policy

There are support administrators that require access to be admins on all One Drive for Business sites that should NOT have access to SharePoint administration or any other SharePoint team sites.

Likewise, there are support administrators that will need to have access to all SharePoint team sites that should not have access to SharePoint Administrator or the One Drive for Business sites.

The only way to achieve this today is by scheduling a daily script to run against the target URLs to add the needed groups to the site collection administrators group, to ensure that newly created sites have the…

Gente, buenas tardes.
    Saludos.
