add machine name to audit results
When checking which files were deleted by which user from a site collection in SharePoint Online, the machine name of the originating computer / server is not shown. All we get is a public IP address, a OS build nr and the client software used. The local user's machine name would be much more helpful.
For example in my case the OS build nr of Windows 2019 Server and Windows 10 are the same, OneDrive clients are the same version on Server and laptop, and we all have our datacenter as internet breakout.

• The site collection/site page that has been most visited. • The document that has been most viewed or downloaded.
It would be better to have a Tab to see most visited page on the share point site for whole tenenat

As a motivational way to put our heads in the air and our family out side. We need to get back to basics. My credit is being used because our technology is so advance people that sit on there deceivingly smart ass's put hardworking, honest people to in the poor house and mess up our future and our kids future. We need an algorithm or something that can catch up with one of these pricks and im going to be part of that.

Function disappears "Classic Popularity Reports"
I have just noticed with amazement that the "Classic Popularity Reports" function will disappear at the beginning of next year.
This report is far from complete and relevant, but it compensates for the lack of reporting on lists and libraries.
The information provided by the "Popularity trends" page is incomplete and not adapted to a professional intranet (but rather for web light), exporting to Excel is not even possible!
Site managers need visibility on their site activity such as "which file is read and by whom?", a function that can be exported to Excel, this is sufficient for 90% of…1 vote -

Audit logs in Microsoft Stream to obtain details of actions performed by video viewers
Current audit logs in Microsoft Stream can obtain date and time when a video played, however I would like to know more details of actions performed for the video by viewers – how long the video has been played, or to which point the video has been viewed.

Fix SharePoint Retention for SharePoint Online
Can we make the retention policy more flexible to include the intentional deletion of content for a clean state of the SP sites?

Create a separate view of sites that have been deleted but covered by a retention policy
Currently sites that have been deleted but bound by a retention rule are visible in my Active site view. This unnecessarily clutters the Active view and makes using that view very cumbersome. By default the tenant admin no longer has access to these sites meaning I can't do anything with them. Please move these sites to a separate view to unclutter my Active sites.

AIP and Sensitivity Labels
AIP and Sensitivity Labels causes documents to be non-searchable. This causes documents to 'vanish' especially when the owner becomes unavailable and is the only person who knows where the document resides.

Allow MS Flow to be triggers from a retention policy
We need the capability of triggering a MS Flow when content meets retention policy conditions. The aim being to wrap the content in appropriate business processes for managing the retention of the content. The current configuration for a retention policy is to email a specific user account. This is difficult as the user may no longer be with the organisation. Likewise it should not be a 'service account' as how many service accounts should we be expected to maintain. Having the option to trigger a MS Flow removes numerous steps in the administration process.

Add versioned field that captures approval information (date/time/username via system login information to document list/outcome/Comments).
For approvals, add a versioned non-editable field that captures approver/date/time/status/comments. That way, even if the workflows gets deleted, the results are captured somewhere. By versioning and non-editable, capture the data as it is recorded in the workflow, then there is no way of changing it thus making it auditable.
