Reindex User Profiles option
When crawling user profiles there is no control over when crawls happen or when changed details are picked up. When changing Managed Properties you never know when these changes are applied as user profiles aren't changed and therefore continuous crawls will not run.
I propose that an option to reindex user profiles is added to Office 365/SharePoint Online so that all user profiles are reindexed during the next crawl. Similar to reindex list for lists and libraries in SharePoint.

we are also having the same issue, new starters not showing in the SharePoint people search. I don't know how SharePoint is handling the sign in blocked account. Sign in blocked accounts are showing in the SharePoint search. Guys, please fix all those problems

Yes, It is very very difficult to test and troubleshoot with such a lengthy delay in results.

This is really a missing feature for the SPO User Profile services!
For a few weeks we surfacing an issue where user properties are not being indexed, thus also not available within the crawled properties. We raised a ticket at Microsoft, but it looks like they dont know it.
Just build in a simple Index reset for the User Profile properties, that would really be great! -

Would be helpful ! it's kinda frustrating to tell to my clients that cloud solutions are somewhat not under control and they need to take it easy ...

We have spent about 80 hours troubleshooting some issues with SPO user profiles. At least 10 have been with Microsoft requesting that we recreate the issue and then wait for them to respond with, please recreate the issue. If we could initiate a full crawl we would know a lot more about where the issue lies.

Without this feature we have to waste lot of times for troubleshooting and we might have to find alternative ways

This is a "must have" feature. I second the option to allow a "full crawl" as well.

Surely a feature as basic as the ability to run a crawl on user profiles should be available to begin with but unfortunately it's just one of a long list of useful functions, that were heavily utilised in on-premise SP, yet unavailable in SP Online.

I'd like to see this feature added too. It's frustrating having to wait for an unknown time to see profile property changes reflected in search results.

I would love to see this expanded to make it easy to request a full crawl as well, instead of having to put a ticket in, waiting for the response, going through all the motions with MS Support to convince them you need a crawl, because of the 10 or 20 times i have done this, simply telling them that I have created new managed properties and mapped crawled properties to does not seem to be enough without answering a bunch of questions and providing a screenshots. Ugh! Thanks for posting this Pieter! I hope it gets some traction.
