Add a the capability to index DWG files and DGN files.
Autodesk AutoCAD DWG and Bentley Microstation DGN files are the primary file formats used to store and disseminate design information and plans between business partners working on civil engineering, landscape architecture, planning, and transportation projects.
Many AEC firms use SharePoint Team sites as centralized points for these types of projects, but unfortunately, these files, which often contain a lot of text information, cannot be indexed and searched.
Autodesk and Bentley are major technology firms that already partner with Microsoft, please collaborate on a solution!
QuickBooks is the most widely used accounting software, and it reliably produces high-quality reports. Quickbooks File Doctor is a powerful and adaptable tool for addressing Quickbooks accounting software issues. This app serves as a support framework for accounting applications in terms of correcting Quickbooks company file errors.

I work with a large global organization that produces thousands of dwg files a year. We utilize O365 for much our document management, however it is frustrating that dwg files are not native document types. Please add this feature.
SharePoint Online Search Results are not linking search result to .dwg file like .pdf etc. instead it is just showing blank DispForm.aspx
Is there any provision to add the file extension type .dwg

We are currently testing Share Point as a Document Repository from an Oil & Gas Perspective for Facilities related project. And one big limitation is the inability to index and extract metadata from CAD files. (Autocad DWG , Microstation DGN).
I hope there are some progress on this topic as many industries rely on these formats.

Hi Craig, I agree this file format is really important for specific industries and we are seeing customer avoid going with Office 365 for this reason. It would be great if this was supported by Office 365.
