Support the suffix matching in the search result
give the possibility by default to search result for suffix matching.
For example to receive result for "SharePoint" i could write "Share"
or "Point" and automatically the search will consider the search key as "Share" or "Point".
Thank you for your feedback! We don’t support prefix search. There are upsides and downsides with doing suffix search by default. It’s a question of what’s best for most people. We’re taking your feedback into consideration.
Still can't do a proper search in Sharepoint - after 6 years of user feedback - they just don't care!
In fact, they flat out refused to fix their broken search feature:
This works on-prem. It should work online. How are we supposed to migrate to the cloud if we lose functionality. How useful is SharePoint online if you can't find what your looking for.

This functionality would be extremely helpful when searching and maintaining our SharePoint site. Please incorporate this functionality.
It would also be great if we can use wildcards in front of the search phrase. I have lots of dicussions with users who are looking for a fraction of a word and can't find it.

This is definitely a feature which should be there as it works in all other solns like google and box

Agreed. This is especially true when using document or standards numbers and a standard named E101 is not found when someone searches 101. Users expect that to work, and it should.
Please for the love of god make this a thing
I second this
