Sharepoint Calendar categories.
If you amend existing / create your own, they do not not show up on the mobile Sharepoint app. If you have calendar overlays on your SP site the events entered on mobile app with "old standard style" category do not show!! Why must the mobile view default to the standard calendar categories???
AGREE 100% - SharePoint calendar is a 'classic' application and clunky in desktop, but even worse in SharePoint IOS (app). Custom columns created in the list on the desktop view do not translate over to the mobile app (add new event) form. This is a huge fail and makes no sense. Outlook calendars do not provide enough customization for teams who need a reservation/room booking solution. Please create a modern calendar app that pushes custom columns to the mobile device app.
I notice that the categories only show up on the "edit" view of the mobile app but not view. Also, any custom drop-down items do not show up as an option to use.

We have many Customers who add custom columns to their calendars and require the ability to view and update them via a mobile device. Hoping this feature will be added soon.
