  1. SharePoint Framework Webpart implementing ADAL js - Issue in Microsoft SharePoint app in mobile (Android and iOS)

Sharepoint Framework Webparts implementing ADAL JS for creating Access Tokens do not work in Sharepoint sites when opened in SP App in Mobile Phones.
When we open these sites in browser on laptops/desktops,adal js created the access token but forces 3 consecutive page loads thereby making webpart functioanlity working.
However,in Microsoft Sharepoint app in Mobile Phones, forces the page for only 1 load and page goes blank (in iOS) while in Android it loads with incomplete functionality.
1] The Microsoft Sharepoint app should behave the same way as it does in the browser for generating Access Token on login using adal…

  3. Managed App Configuration for MDM

It is mentioned in the blogs that the SharePoint app supports managed app configuration for using with an MDM to pre-configure the app, before distributing to users.
This sounds great - where can I read more on this? Is there a documentation for the configuration to set?

  4. Open external links in browser

Open links to sites outside of SharePoint.com domain in a browser by default. The SharePoint app doesn't handle 3rd party web app authentication well. For example, if you open your SharePoint Online site in the app and then select a link from a page in your SharePoint online site to your on-prem site, it gives a 404 error. The SharePoint app features also differ from what users expect to be able to do in their default browser with web apps other than SharePoint. After you select an external link in the SharePoint app, there is an option to open it…

  6. calendar categories

    Sharepoint Calendar categories.
If you amend existing / create your own, they do not not show up on the mobile Sharepoint app. If you have calendar overlays on your SP site the events entered on mobile app with "old standard style" category do not show!! Why must the mobile view default to the standard calendar categories???

  7. Modern Page ASPX file should be showing by default in SharePoint App in iOS once it has been set as the landing page.

When a Modern page aspx file is created as landing page for a Classic Experience site, it should show up first when the site is opened in the SharePoint Applicaton for iOS. This is already working for Android phones, I don't understand why this is not working for iOS devices.

  9. Hide additional links in quick launch for modern team sites in mobile app

Hide additional links like files, lists, news, activities from quick launch in modern team sites in SharePoint mobile app. I don't want my users to view master lists and any config lists. This should be an option at least. This is coming up only in mobile app and not in browser.

  12. Enable adding items to a list

If you use a list for something like IT issues, you should be able to add an item to that list, a client should be able to add their broken computer issue to the list for the admin to fix. And the admin able to keep the client up to date with the fix without having to go to a desktop version to update the issue.

  13. Mobile Logo Formatting

The logo on the desktop is not constrained to a square, but the mobile app does. I have a wide banner-type logo so it shows up tiny in a colored box. Please free the aspect ratio so the logo is directly on the page in its correct aspect ratio.

  14. Wishing ”Mobile Browser View”to reflect on Mobile SharePoint app as it is set to the SharePoint site.

I am unable to have users edit and post items when working through ”Mobile Browser View" even if they have the right to "Post".
Although I make ”Mobile Browser View” invalidated within SharePoint site, once I open the item lists in the mobile SharePoint app, I still find them shown on "Mobile Browser View”. I think this is odd and I doubt that I will be able to see exactly the same behavior on mobile SharePoint app after attempting to make mobile browser view invalidated in SharePoint site. So far, I have seen no linkage in terms of operating environment.

  16. Different views in library

In our portal we assigned common properties (tags) to each of the files uploaded to SharePoint document library. We have grouped them.
Is it possible to show the different views. For example: Allows for filtering, grouping, sorting of documents based on their properties.

  18. Support photo libraries in OneDrive

When accessing files in the SharePoint mobile app, it opens OneDrive and displays the file. However, when you try to access a photo library in SharePoint, it opens OneSrive and nothing happens. It seems like photo libraries aren't supported in OneDrive.
