Managed App Configuration for MDM
It is mentioned in the blogs that the SharePoint app supports managed app configuration for using with an MDM to pre-configure the app, before distributing to users.
This sounds great - where can I read more on this? Is there a documentation for the configuration to set?35 votes -
Sharepoint on iOS 11 file app
Through OneDrive, enable us to access Sharepoint document repositories through the iOS files app. This would make uploading files from other Files compliant apps a lot easier.

calendar categories
Sharepoint Calendar categories.
If you amend existing / create your own, they do not not show up on the mobile Sharepoint app. If you have calendar overlays on your SP site the events entered on mobile app with "old standard style" category do not show!! Why must the mobile view default to the standard calendar categories???34 votes -

Display of Excel sheets in the file viewer web part
■Description(内容):
On modern pages, if you place an Excel sheet that includes graph data as a file viewer web part, when viewing it via a PC web browser the graph data is shown correctly, but on mobile devices on iOS etc. it is not.
It’s possible this is because of the automatic screen scaling function on modern pages, but please…31 votes -
SharePoint Framework Webpart implementing ADAL js - Issue in Microsoft SharePoint app in mobile (Android and iOS)
Sharepoint Framework Webparts implementing ADAL JS for creating Access Tokens do not work in Sharepoint sites when opened in SP App in Mobile Phones.
When we open these sites in browser on laptops/desktops,adal js created the access token but forces 3 consecutive page loads thereby making webpart functioanlity working.
However,in Microsoft Sharepoint app in Mobile Phones, forces the page for only 1 load and page goes blank (in iOS) while in Android it loads with incomplete functionality.
1] The Microsoft Sharepoint app should behave the same way as it does in the browser for generating Access Token on login using adal…30 votes -

Top bar navigation
When an intranet is designed in SharePoint the top bar is a crucial part of the user experience. The app ignores this and relies on hierarchy to develop the user journey. A lot of users have no clue about the hierarchy of SharePoint sites in an intranet.
In the same way the left navigation is built into the app, so should the top bar be. Or at least an option to have it available or not.
The app is a good start, but we need more settings and configuration or it will annoy consumers.

Open links in SharePoint app
Previously I believe it was possible to open SharePoint links directly in the mobile app. This was a huge usability win because there’s was no need to login each day to view content.
As it appears to be right now, if I click a link in Outlook, Teams or other Microsoft apps I have to login (with 2-factor authentication for our organization) then once the page loads I’m prompted to open the page in the app.
It seems it would be far more user friendly if the links just opened directly in the mobile app.29 votes -
Modern Page ASPX file should be showing by default in SharePoint App in iOS once it has been set as the landing page.
When a Modern page aspx file is created as landing page for a Classic Experience site, it should show up first when the site is opened in the SharePoint Applicaton for iOS. This is already working for Android phones, I don't understand why this is not working for iOS devices.

Enable adding items to a list
If you use a list for something like IT issues, you should be able to add an item to that list, a client should be able to add their broken computer issue to the list for the admin to fix. And the admin able to keep the client up to date with the fix without having to go to a desktop version to update the issue.

Switch tenant or user
A possibility to switch between tenants or users would be practical if you work on different tenants. Such a solution is already implemented with your OneDrive App in iOS
