  1. Have Videos that are MP4 format that steam in the browser, also stream in the app.

Right now, when I view a video from our site, it streams as it plays. On the iPad it says I need to install SilverLight or to download the file. Our goal is to use this platform for our field users and a lot of our training videos are in .mp4 format. We could always change the format but we need to have the users view by stream and not download every training video.

  2. Show only my recent or followedbfiles, not everyone's

The whole point of SharePoint is the multiples users are accessing files. I want to be able to get to the files I have used recently. Instead what shows up is whatever my colleagues have been working on. To get what I want I have to browse through whole directory structure which is a waste of time.

  5. Move Featured links to top of launch page in SharePoint app

This allows admins to highlight first eg key intranet pages / homepages. Currently, uses have to scroll file down to find the feature links on the app

  6. iPad view is useless to users

When looking at the home page, why does it not default to PC view or at least something that makes some remote amount of sense so they have a clue what they,re looking at? Users don't even know what most of the "subsites" mean and have no business being there in the first place.

Switching to PC View usually gets them what they are actually looking for, but even the "Switch to PC View" functionality is unreliable and only works about 1/5 of the time. Most of the time that opens up exactly the same page. Like so many of…

  9. Make issue handling more interactive (like Staffhub)

If you report an issue it's always frustrating when you get no feedback.
The Microsoft Staffhub app for example has an integrated chat and you always get feedback to your reported issues.

  10. Allow mobile app configuration

The news tab doesn’t reflect custom news content types. Allow admins to choose what qualifies as news for their org.

The search tab taking over the sites tab was a horrible choice. Brand new to SP users have no idea what to do if the news tab doesn’t direct them.

  11. Fix mailto-links

In the IOS Sharepoint app mailto:eg@example.com is not working. The link works on desktop, but when i try to press it in the Sharepoint-app it only opens the web-page of the email-domain, such as: "example.com"

  13. Display better user experience for Microsoft Word when using filtered document library view access by using quick link.

    Scenario:
Create a quick link that link to customized view in document library. From SharePoint Apps, when accessing Word Document from that quick link customized view, Word Document will have lagging when scrolling down the document.
However, there is no issue in scrolling down Word Document if the quick link is link to the default document library view.

  14. Click on Sites> selected site. Open with home.

This way the new publishing 'news' shows up. Otherwise you have to click something else to get there. Allows you to get 'news from your teams' straight off. You can still access activity, documents etc on the left.
