Display better user experience for Microsoft Word when using filtered document library view access by using quick link.
Scenario:
Create a quick link that link to customized view in document library. From SharePoint Apps, when accessing Word Document from that quick link customized view, Word Document will have lagging when scrolling down the document.
However, there is no issue in scrolling down Word Document if the quick link is link to the default document library view.0 votes -
Click on Sites> selected site. Open with home.
This way the new publishing 'news' shows up. Otherwise you have to click something else to get there. Allows you to get 'news from your teams' straight off. You can still access activity, documents etc on the left.

iPad view is useless to users
When looking at the home page, why does it not default to PC view or at least something that makes some remote amount of sense so they have a clue what they,re looking at? Users don't even know what most of the "subsites" mean and have no business being there in the first place.
Switching to PC View usually gets them what they are actually looking for, but even the "Switch to PC View" functionality is unreliable and only works about 1/5 of the time. Most of the time that opens up exactly the same page. Like so many of…
