Please can the function that already exists in OneDrive for adding photos, folders, etc. from a mobile device be added? I am currently sharing my work OneDrive so that other users can upload photos easily. This is especially important now that Outlook (and other mobile email applications) have decided that we can no longer attach a photo and have to insert it into the body of the email instead!? This now means that when people reply to an email, the photos will get sent each time filling up storage! Thanks :)

not just upload photo but any kind of file. We should be able to share from one app to upload into SharePoint.

Please consider to include spfx.
From a mobile browser it the use the device camera in a web part works (after consent), but is blocked in the app.
If it where possible to allow the app to use a camera on a site (behavior equal to desktop / mobile browser) than all kinds of audio / video requirements could be delivered via the App by using the SharePoint framework. -

100% Upload a photo direct from the camera into a document library, image library or anywhere you can upload a normal file

Any news on this? Seems like a simple function to add.

No doubt because the easiest way to get pictures (I would think) into say a new "News" post would be with a smartphone! Who really wants to take a picture, email it to themselves, save it to their desktop, and then upload it to the site???
