Allow use of the SharePoint Online App for invited external users
Allow use of the SharePoint Online App for invited external users.
Our school governors (who have external emails) can access their SP portal online, but not using the app. It is impacting the uptake of SP as most people prefer using apps over browser. Please give this idea a serious consideration. Tehnically I can't see why it should be difficult; is there another reason this is not being worked upon?
We have shared documents and calendar events with external users and it would be a huge benefit to use a Sharepoint app rather than a web browser.
Same here! External User can't use the android app. 95% of my business is strickley is with volunteers and they can't use the app because they need to be "licensed" user in order to use the app. There is no way we are going to give o365 licenses to volunteers. They are not employees of the organization and don't need to be.
Why create an app for SharePoint access, but not allow external guests/users to access it?

Weird that the allow online, but not in app. Need this ASAP. Just hit a wall with volunteers.

We have shared document sets with external users via SharePoint Online. These people are mostly "on the road" and would greatly benefit from the use of the SharePoint Mobile App.
