SharePoint link in Outlook does not open the SharePoint app
When I open a link to a sharepoint document in outlook, then the secure browser starts instead of the sharepoint app. The secure browser does not work for us as it asks for RSA token. I need the link to open the document in the SharePoint app which is MAM controlled.
It does not do this because the link starts with mycompanyname.sharepoint.com. So it is not recognized as a sharepoint link apparently. Can you fix this to open in the SP app?

Opening sharepoint links should open the app not the browser. This was supposedly fixed a long time ago, but obviously, it never was fixed. Opening a document in a browser often doesn't render properly, while if I open the same document in the app, it renders perfectly. This happens on Android as well as IPhone.

MS app, MS office email why would it not open inside this app. Forcing users to take another step opening in a browser is not good UI/UX design and feels like old MS.. I have faith MS will fix this.

The feature is quite critical because due to security issue we have blocked browser access for Sharepoint online on Intune managed devices.
If the feature is available in other O365 services like Yammer, Teams, what is stopping Sharepoint also have the same basic feature?

Same request. When there is a link which is a view in a document library (a folder) clicked from Outlook, it calls a browser vs when the link is a page in the folder\site - it opens in the SP mobile app (which is what is preferred).
