  1. Have Different SharePoint 2013/2016 Certification Paths!!!

    No offense.. but your SharePoint Certification Path suck!! You need to have SharePoint certifications that will actually help someone who uses SharePoint 2013/2016 daily!!! In a large corporation the "PowerUser" or JSOM developer is not going to set up Server Farms. You need SharePoint Certs for SUPER POWER USERS, POWER USERS the do "some" programming on the front end etc... your current SharePoint Certs are a waste of time and would not do the average office worker any good. You need a cert that would show teach things like how to use HighCharts with SharePoint, how to use SP Services,…

  2. Make the Office Online service account configurable

    Currently (OO Preview), all Office Online services run as NETWORK ACCOUNT. This makes managing permissions to external resources used by Excel Service (SSAS, databases used in workbooks with authentication options set to "None") messy when there are more OO servers in the farm. Being able to set one domain account for all of them would help. Additionally, from what I noticed, the service account is used to access documents when the "/op/generate.aspx" tool is used, so that will be messy as well.

  3. Allow multiple email to receive the access request.

    When setting up Access request in a site collection, there is only one email address allowed. In 2010 we could add a semi-colon separated list of email.
    it is all explained at https://jmitnotes.wordpress.com/2015/06/05/sharepoint-2013-access-request-email-must-be-unique/

  6. Rich Text Editor support in non-IE browsers

    The SharePoint Rich Text Editor only works well in Internet Explorer when used with full HTML support. This hinders the ability to make it available in external collaboration scenarios, when it's not possible to control or mandate a user of a specific browser.

  8. Allow drop-down columns to use views

    I know there are 3rd party tools that allow you to do this. But many companies only want to use SharePoint "out of the box". It would be really nice to this as a native feature

  9. don't let IRM be a limitation to edit documents in office online

    Right now, when IRM (Information Rights Management) is turned on for a library in Sharepoint, the ability to edit files using office online becomes unavailable for that library, also taking away the possibility for online collaboration on those files, even by users with the proper rights to access and edit the files.

  10. Fix the 'folder to documentset contenttype change' bug

    Changing the contenttype of a folder to a documentset is possible (and should be), only the behaviour/UI is not changed to one of a documenset, thus not giving access to document set features. There even is a custom fix on codeplex, which IMHO should not be used because it's custom code and its more like a band-aid than a fix.

    A lot of people in the ECM community will profit from this (seemingly easy fix). Things like general use, dossier management, case management and archiving all suffer from this. This bug has been in there for way too long.

  11. if new file added without additional properties force user to update properties before its added to the document library

    Programs such as OneNote don't give functionality of Document Information Panel so no user can add properties before they add the document into the document library.

  13. Provide a means to control what happens if remote event receiver cannot be reached

    Presently, if a remote event receiver service cannot be reached, SharePoint immediately continues with the original operation and we have no control over that.

    We need a way to indicate in EventReceiverDefinitionCreationInformation what should happen if our RER service cannot be reached. Perhaps something like this.

    var rer = new EventReceiverDefinitionCreationInformation
    {
    ...
    ActionIfNotContactable = { Cancel | Continue }
    }

  15. Mac Outlook opening Sharepoint Calendars and Contacts

    Allow Mac version of Office 2016 (specifically Mac Outlook 2016) to open Sharepoint features like Contacts and Calendars with the user's local Outlook. Currently, Windows version of Outlook is capable of doing this, but not the Mac versions.

    This also goes for user created shared calendars in OWA or Windows Outlook to be opened in Mac Outlook 2016.

    We do not what to depend on using OWA for these basic capabilities, specially when we pay same amount of money for the Mac versions as we do for the Windows Versions.

  16. Enable central administration of regional settings for OneDrive for Business accounts

    When an admin misses the opportunity to set the right default regional settings for new OneDrive for Business accounts, already created OfB accounts will have the wrong regional settings (time zone etc).
    Afterwards, it's not possible to centraly set the right regional settings for all users. Only the users is then able to make to correct settings in his OfB account.
    Please enable the possibility to make this change centraly for all OfB accounts.

  18. Bulk printing

    I've had a few customers ask about this recently. I know we should be saving trees but they wanted the ability to kick off a batch printing operation right from the document library. Select files -> Print all. I'm not sure how widely this would be used but worth a shout.

  20. The SharePoint settings 'cog' looks the same as the IE settings cog

    The settings button (the cog) in the top nav bar looks exactly the same as the Internet Explorer settings cog. They are also quite close to each other. This is confusing for new users who are following guides etc.
