Need Powershell/CSOM or Admin UI ability to backup and restore entire Site Collections in order to create a new (duplicate) site collection in the same tenant.

It will be usefull to have a better management of crypto virus and the risk link to an employee having webdav or onedrive sync an encrypted document.

If we just have 1 document, we have version control to go back to previous version, but if we have this on all documents, it is easier to restore everything to last backup.

This would also be used for out of place recovery for when a restore is needed, so as not to overwrite an entire production site to recovery a single piece of content (document, permissions, list columns, etc.)

This would be very beneficial for us as well. The site collection backups could be stored in Azure, and even charge us extra for storage. being able to restore those backups to a new/separate site collection in the same tenant would be required also
