Thank you for everyone who has been providing feedback on this thread. There is a variety of work happening to make it easier for people to save to/from OneDrive and SharePoint. There are no specifics and ETA’s to share at this point.

I would agree with this! The "Restricted Link" will allow you to just get a link to a document without the tokens for sharing the document, however, the term "Restricted Link" is confusing to the end users and does not explain that people that already have permissions to the document will be able to access the document.

I just tried using drag and drop with Edge in the Modern view and it worked just fine for me! :) Thank you to whoever first posted that!!
