Thank you for submitting this suggestion and voting on it. We have two events/calendar solutions in modern pages today. The events web part has card based event tiles, powered by events lists. You can roll-up events from multiple sites into one page, but there isn’t currently a wall calendar view.

Alternatively you can select to leverage a group calendar, and pull all of your events (including recurring events) from Exchange. This too is a compact card based view.

While we understand a wall calendar view is desirable, we’re not working on it at this time.

I don't understand why Microsoft have not improved this webpart yet. It has a couple of obvious problems.
    1) it is ugly and desperately needs the images or colour block options.
    2) it only allows times in 30 minute increments.
    3) Tracking who has clicked "Add to Calendar" would be a great 'nice to have' option.

This limitation makes the tool useless for our events. I need to be able to start at 5 mins past an our and finish 10 minutes before the hour. Please allow time selection in 5 minute increments.

I see this as more than a Nice to Have. I think that Events need to be like Facebook events where you can invite people and see who is 'Interested', 'Going' or 'Cannot Attend'. As the organiser it is really important to know how many people are planning to attend your event - and as Attendees it is nice to see who else is going.

Today an image occupies the width of the container it’s in (e.g. 1/3 column). Assuming you could make your image smaller than the column width, what level of alignment would you want? Is left, right, center sufficient, or are you wanting vertical alignment in the negative space around the image (e.g. top, middle, bottom)? What would you expect happens to the space on different break points (e.g. iPad, mobile phone, etc.) Does it go away, or is it somehow retained? Thanks.
