Only comment to be found regarding processing time/expectations.

Note: The more sites or content types you have, the longer it will take for the timer jobs to finish processing changes. While it might seem like the content hasn't updated in the span of a single job, future jobs will sequentially complete processing all the changes (including any subsequent changes).

A big complaint with this job is specifically around site creation. When I create new sites, I don't want to have to wait day(s) to get content types of them. I can understand processing an update to an existing content type taking a day or two, due to the scope of what has to happen. There needs to be an event on site creation that goes and sucks in the relevant content types, or a faster queue/process for new sites only.

With Skype being EOL eventually and replaced with Teams, it could make sense to change the way this functionality works. (No more browser plugins) Modern browsers have also dropped/minimized support for browser plugins due to security concerns.

The Teams contact card includes presence information. I'll suggest updating the Office 365 and SharePoint Server contact card to get presence information the same way Teams does. I realize there are different implementations required, but getting this working in O365 should be a pretty reasonable request, since the functionality already exists in Teams.
