Thank you for submitting this suggestion and voting on it. We have two events/calendar solutions in modern pages today. The events web part has card based event tiles, powered by events lists. You can roll-up events from multiple sites into one page, but there isn’t currently a wall calendar view.
Alternatively you can select to leverage a group calendar, and pull all of your events (including recurring events) from Exchange. This too is a compact card based view.
While we understand a wall calendar view is desirable, we’re not working on it at this time.

Let me add my comment as well. The new Calendar View is nice - would be even better with the ability to configure it with filters and JSON like other columns formatting. That would get us in a better place. Allow us to use that view on a Modern Page - that would be even better. And we would love to have overlays back or some way to rollup the calendars - especially across a hub.
Thanks.

As nice as it is having the ability to connect to Office 365 Group Calendars and display events we really need to have a calendar. I think I may have to create a Canvas App in PowerBuilder that we can spin up on the sites that need Calendar functionality (or an SPFx Web Part). This is something that is really needed so please reconsider it for the future.
Thanks.Maurice supported this idea ·

We’re actively thinking about how we can better support the desire for a great looking, responsive, wall calendar view. As we solidify our thoughts, we’ll share more.

Just ran into this one myself. Cannot believe that has is so low of a count.
Need users to be able to run a flow on a list to sign up for a course but don't want them to have edit on the list as I don't want them changing it manually. Can't believe we can't pick the SharePoint Group we want to use. Please add this functionality. Thanks.

We aren’t currently working on adding recurring events support to the Events web part. As a number of commentors have suggested, Group calendars do a great job with recurring events and are a great way to show them on your modern pages.

I just discovered this. We really need this functionality as we use it to track regular days off that happen every 2-3 weeks for staff. Our staff is tracking these on SharePoint Calendars as they do not have an Office 365 Group yet.

Today you can add metadata to modern pages and news. Also the news web part currently supports filtering news by metadata, as long as the source of the content is the current site.
We’re working to enable this same filtering across sites right now.
