Thanks for asking for this capability. This isn’t in our current plans. We suggest using the Group Calendar functionality for great Microsoft Exchange backed features like recurring events.

There is currently no way for a site owner or user to see viewing trends for a document to know whether it is being viewed or not. The activity section in the details pane does show recent activity, however, ideally users have requested analytics on document views rolled up by day, month, quarter and year. This shows the user whether the document is being viewed and the trending of those views, which tells the user whether it may need to be promoted or not. This information was available in classic SharePoint via the popularity/trending reports. Some sort of Insights data for any document in SharePoint would satisfy user's requests.

We have a lot of users who would like to quick link a document library or a folder within a document library. To make this easy, it would be nice to be able to select a folder or document library in the edit link dialog under the site option. Currently, it appears that it only allows users to select a file. If a user wants link to a folder or library, they need to navigate to the library or folder and copy the link, then go back to editing the page to manually set the link to that library or folder.

It would be great to be able to share a folder with just an upload link. There are times when we need to have an external user upload files into a folder and they would like to share that link with others. In this sense, it is technically an anonymous link as anyone can use it, however, we don't want the users who have the link to be able to see what is in the directory in the event that it is compromised. If a customer needs to share a document with us but we don't want them to see the files in the folder, there isn't a way to do this right now.

SharePoint Hybrid and Migration Team responded
Thank you for bringing this suggestion to our attention. While the SharePoint migration investments have been focused on helping the on-prem customer transition to OneDrive and SharePoint in Office 365 using the SharePoint migration tool, we acknowledge that there are additional scenarios like the ones explained in this suggestion that are not covered yet. We are currently considering various options to solve those scenarios, but we cannot commit to anything at this point. Please continue bringing great suggestions to our attention like this one.

Thanks for the suggestion. While this can accomplished via PnP Powershell today, we understand the desire to have a way to do it in the UX. We’ll add it to our backlog.

We are working on adding this support in the current V3 release. Alto it is not ready yet, once V3 hits General availability this should be included in the scope of pages migration.
please try the latest public preview release as this should come in a future update.

Thank you for this suggestion. We have definitely heard the feedback. While we don’t have any plans at this time to enable custom email templates this is something we’ll think about as we move forward and prioritize items for our future roadmap. Thank you.

It would be helpful to have the ability to switch who the news digest post is sent from by selecting from a list of the accounts that the user has Send As access to. If we have an HR site, it would be nice to have the ability to send the news digest out from the HR mailbox rather than a particular user, who other employees may not be familiar with.
