Yes to all of the online requests. Uploading a document to a library in modern has become quite cumbersome, especially with metadata. For basic users it would be great to not have to root around for the properties option and either have it on the top navigation bar with the other quick items, or have it auto appear like classic when metadata is required. Launching in a forms dialog is super helpful as we have a number of sites that we would prefer to use.

Yes please! This is something we realized after doing a recent security site audit. We have sites that have hundreds of documents that now have broken inheritance because of the sharing feature. What's the point of having site level security if we can break the inheritance with every document? At least lets have a default value for people with existing access since that's typically who people are sharing with. It's the only option missing from the SharePoint Admin centre.

We have a list with lengthy column names as it's used as an evaluation tool. The column names are not wrapping and is running off the screen so you can't see the question. The column ordering is all wrong too and doesn't reflect what the list has. If you view this list in classic view, it actually looks good, however if you add an attachment classic view it fails adding the item. However you're able to add an attachment while in modern view, but again, all the columns are out of order. A PowerApp could fix this, however from what I understand you're unable to add attachments to a SharePoint list using PowerApps and is coming functionality. With that being said, all three options would give us what we need, but provide a horrible user experience.

We know wikis are critical to sharing knowledge within your organization! We’ve been slowly building capabilities to share information more easily with our focus on modern pages and web parts. And with that work, we’ve been adding some of the capabilities we hear you want when people refer to wikis (easily add links to other pages or content, add metadata to each page to help people find and categorize it, roll-up content based on that metadata to show groupings of like content, etc.) But we know this isn’t all that’s required to have a great wiki. Many people also want wiki linking syntax e.g. [[]], we don’t yet support that, but we do support ctrl/command + K from the text web part to search and find pages on your site. We’ll be working on adding wiki syntax shortly. We know you also need easy roll-up pages, maybe an index page,…

Providing the ability to scale from renaming individual sites, to all sites within a SharePoint tenant, while ensuring a consistent user experience across M365 is a complex problem. We have been working hard on this long-awaited feature and are currently validating this with a subset of customers in a closed (no longer accepting nominations) Private Preview Program. As we consolidate their feedback, we will provide another update in the next few months.

Absolutely! This one brings a lot of frustration to our company as people don't know where to find the check in and out and with libraries that highly use this, why can it not be in the same window as when you edit the properties of a document?
