Please ignore Simon King, apparently he can't read. To be very clear, everyone needs a modern (responsive) month view and week view not a Film Strip or Compact view. This is a standard business requirement for for everyday business users that work at virtually every business on the planet. Anyone that has used Outlook or SharePoint classic anytime in the last two decades understands the ask.

Every business needs a comprehensive calendar solution. Exchange calendars, SharePoint calendars, O365 Group calendars, and Planner calendars do not play well together. At a minimum, SharePoint calendars should provide a modern week view and month view, but ideally they would also have color coding and a rollup feature. Adding Planner calendars to some future overlay capability would be very helpful too.

Thank you for submitting this suggestion and voting on it. We have two events/calendar solutions in modern pages today. The events web part has card based event tiles, powered by events lists. You can roll-up events from multiple sites into one page, but there isn’t currently a wall calendar view.

Alternatively you can select to leverage a group calendar, and pull all of your events (including recurring events) from Exchange. This too is a compact card based view.

While we understand a wall calendar view is desirable, we’re not working on it at this time.
