Thanks for the suggestion. While this can accomplished via PnP Powershell today, we understand the desire to have a way to do it in the UX. We’ll add it to our backlog.

Could the Product team provide a link to the PnP Powershell solution? I couldn't find anything on the PnP Github repository. I could only find a Powershell solution on Stackexchange.
My SharePoint Admin advised that if we used that Powershell solution I found on StackExchange we would lose our version history and page visits count - reasonably important pieces of data for our page.
Essentially, we're no better of than if we just copied and pasted content from one page to another if we use PowerShell.jenny.bruce supported this idea ·

Agree with this suggestion. The different behaviour between the two methods of creating a news post is confusing for my users.

Although the additional page banner layouts released back in April/May 2019 give users more choice, my authors are still asking if we can reduce the size of the standard page banner image, rather than use the Plain (no image) or Overlap layout options.
Potentially tweaking the existing overlap layout might do the job. For example if the overlap covered up at least half of the banner height. Alternatively, add a crop tool to the banner in addition to the Set image focal point tool.jenny.bruce supported this idea ·

Agree that it would be good for weather web part to have audience targeting settings - we used to have something like this in place on our SP2010 intranet.
Same probably could apply to the World Clock web part...jenny.bruce supported this idea ·

The ability to move pages between site collections is important when content reorganisation is required. Otherwise we are manually recreating pages and in the process losing important version history information

I'd like to add to this that the Submit button and other visual elements of the Forms web part should inherit theme colors rather than only using the colors from the default site theme - the old fashioned blue used on the submit button looks very out of place

I believe this suggestion is referring to the need to share news that comes from outside the organisation, i.e. from media organisations like the BBC (UK), ABC/NineMSN, etc (Australia), CNN/PBS, etc (USA) and rather than their own news.
We have this need too, and it needs to be available from our Communication sites rather than Team sites, which we don't use to communicate to our staff.jenny.bruce supported this idea ·

Agree with this suggestion whole heartedly - we moved from a centralised approach for our News to a distributed model at the suggestion of the local Microsoft staff. The fact that I can't set parameters around what news articles appear on my 'home' page is a serious limitation
