Thank you for everyone’s feedback around the use of white space on modern pages. We are continually looking for ways to refine our designs and the use of white space is an important part of this. While the custom control of sections or the custom control of columns is not likely to happen, there could be other optimizations we will be thinking about in the future. Thank you.
Speed up the development of the "modern" master pages and page layout frameworks for developers so we can finally brand our god dam intranet sites.
We wont move our intranet until it can be branded.
On a Windows 10 computer with 150% DPI screen and 1080 resolution Over 40% of the screen is lost to the massive amounts of wasted space caused by the header rows. Then to top it off the Global navigation text size is so small it cant be read (IE).
For starters get rid of the 365 row! Its an utter waste of space.

Oh god yes please. This is a must have feature.
OneDrive is still a broken abortion of a program. No we don't want to sync, we just want to manage a list of cloud connected favorite shortcuts. Albeit to Libraries, sites, site collections or even folders.
The ability for ANY Windows app to be able to save to SharePoint is a must. With this you must need an ability to manage favorite locations let it be sites or libraries or even folders.
Right now we have modified our WinX SOE to bring back the Windows Explorer favorites. This enables users to set favorite locations on sharepoint that can be renamed to something meaningful like "Finance Documents" and not just a bunch of libraries called "Shared Documents" as occurs when using Quick Access - FAIL.
ALL APPS need a solution, not just bloody MS Office. MS Office is not the only app that users create work on and need to share.
We initially didn’t enable the full width column on team sites due to the vertical navigation on the left and left justification of team site pages. How do you imagine it should work/look on those pages?
We don't need a web part. We need new page layouts. In this case we need a page layout that supports the full width of the page.
