Today modern pages support picking one of three colors derived from the site theme (soft, neautral, strong). We likely won’t be investing in the option to add arbitrary other colors as a section background, violating the site’s theme. For the other suggestions, please open a unique uservoice suggestion (e.g. support section background images)

We’ve reduced the height of the hero web part when in full width columns, but still maintain as much of the aspect ratio as possible. On a very large monitor this can still make the hero quite tall. Authors could also drag hero our of the full width column, into a one column layout (with gutters) , which significantly reduces the height. How would you imagine it should work differently in the full width, or is moving to a one column layout the right choice for reduced height? Thanks!

They hero webpart needs to be driven off of the news posts, instead of having to edit the page. Create a check box that will put the post in the hero with an expiration date to remove it.

This title needs to be updated to be more relevant, something like "Tenant wide durable links".

This is needed. This now causes the news approval flow to affect site pages that don't need approval.

We aren’t currently working on adding recurring events support to the Events web part. As a number of commentors have suggested, Group calendars do a great job with recurring events and are a great way to show them on your modern pages.

This is a HUGE bug! Reoccuring events should be fully supported in the events web part!

I like this! Give us the option to pick different colors besides the sites theme colors!
