Came here to up-vote this, and found that I already did back in June.
Still want this.

Yes, please!
Would also like to be able to have a calculated column that refers to Managed Metadata column types (especially single-select, but also multi).
I'm sure there must be a reason this is not currently possible, but it doesn't feel justifiable at this point in 2020. Why should I need to make a trigger/workflow just to have a read-only calculated column that points at a metadata or lookup or choice column? The data is there! Please let me use it! :)

Thanks for the feedback. We don’t have any plans for column-level permissions at this time, but I’ll leave the UV item active here in case folks want to add further comments.

Thanks for your suggestions. We agree this can be a little restrictive and we’re going to look into it.

Yes, please! Copy/paste into Lists seems to be broken for the new modern lists (can only do one row at a time in quick edit mode). Being able to import would be great, especially for existing Lists with existing data.

+1 absolutely agree. Pasting into the new Lists experience is painful. I was able to figure out how to paste from Excel, but could only do one row at a time. Not an acceptable method.
If copy/paste can't work, it'd be fine if there was a way to import into an existing SharePoint List from Excel or CSV or whatever, but this option does not exist either.
I understand that you can export from Excel into a /new/ List, but this results in unexpected column types that then need to be fixed, and also does not address the need to add new rows in bulk to an /existing/ list.

Agreed! It would be nice for all Owners to be CCd on a single Access Request email thread to make it easier to communicate about this.
Also, if a SharePoint site is tied to a Teams team, perhaps there should be a hidden Owners channel by default where notifications re: access requests, etc., could all be cross posted?

Why this doesn't just function like a SQL View is beyond me.

Quick update on this suggestion. We are still working on this with MS Teams. We don’t have an ETA to share still.

Yes, please! It's crazy that this does not exist.
