We shifted our resources to delivering other great areas in the SharePoint product, and are no longer planning to bring customizability (in the near term) to the SharePoint start page.

Any updates on this "feature" being resolved? Not being able to modify this site, or change where the app launcher takes you to begin with, is a huge issue.

This is the third or fourth thread I've found asking about being able to edit/change the sharepoint.aspx page or edit/remove/change the SharePoint tile from the App Launcher. Is there any information on when this will be possible? There was an item on the roadmap for almost a year and then was cancelled with no explanation as to why, or if there would be a different roadmap item created.
This is an issue throughout the community that users have been asking to have resolved for years. This sharepoint.aspx page shows incorrect data, is confusing for end users, doesn't meet corporate standards for branding, and causes many headaches for us admins. This needs to be addressed.
